Hi guys

I finaly understood it... there is no RNG.

There are some pre-played games on wich we think we were better or worst than enemy team.. but NO. It was decided before start

If there was RNG both teams would have bounces, and results like 1-15 or 15-1 would not be.

Plus. things like what I got could not happen... I bounced 3x 8 3 fucin times) a tier6 cromwell by shoting it in my tier7 isu122...

THREE TIMES.. 3 *edited* times!!! with a tier7 TD ???

No, that was not RNG.. we lost 1-15 because wargaming had decided we were in schedule for a defeat.

simple as that...

Even on the side of cromwell I got a bounce... tank destryer big gun can't penetrate soft spot on medium...

I guess in my team many had the same thing... so, either there is no RNG or it works for teams

:/

big pile of *****

a freakin rigged casino

I am afraid you seem to fail to grasp RNG, or statistics as concepts.

H

Based on his understanding of RNG and probability he made that life choice already.

Calvinism makes more sense after a few thousand games of WOT. As an aside, free will is absolutely an illusion.

Given the OPs nickname, it seems he has made a few life choices that I personally would not have made. Still if WG are trying to single him out and work him over he must be somebody rather than cudda been somebody, right?

I propose a game. We each guess (No cheating by looking it up on wot-labs) at the WN8 rating and winrate of OP. Winner gets a cookie!

I go first:

WR: 47.27%

WN8: 815

We could also guess his age. I'll go for 12.

Both wrong....at least the former one. Not sure about latter but at least the mental age seems right.

OP, replay or i will kill the dog.

I think you need a bit more information about what "random" really means :) Fortunately in this day and age we have all the information we need at our fingertips so a bit of google search should be able to help in this regard :)

I recommend these as a start:

Law_of_large_numbers

Random_number_generation

Also, I suggest reading this: Battle_Mechanics

There is a lot of useful information in there that should shed some light on a lot of seemingly inexplicable things happening in your matches, like bouncing on lightly armored tanks for example.

Damn you for bringing math into this discussion. It was so much more entertaining when OP was using 'imagination' instead of your 'reason'.

I will cherish the day in which there won't be any RNG in WoT anymore. Sadly, it's not the case at the moment so... yeah, go have a drink and add the crop circles on your list of subjects OP.

RNG brings some balance to the game. Without it, every unicum would pen every weakspot every time and noobs would aim at armour strong points and never do anything because it would always hit the strong point.

RNG saved my life and the battle once when I shot in the general direction of an approaching AMX ELC bis and tracked him- turning him sideways and unable to shoot. I was an easy 1-shot kill. Without RNG, I would have either damaged him and died, or missed altogether.

Just one example that I clearly recall.

Don't matter if you had a tier 8 TD. If your 122mm gun hits the tracks, even that can do nothing. And there are not many places for your gun to not even get an overmatch when you hit the side armor on the Cromwell. But the rear side turret plate is one such place at the side that is thicker at 70 degrees or more for it not to do so. For all we know.

Take a listen to your crew voices. Their feedback when you hit usually is a good indicator if you hit spaced armor, modules or had a 70 degree angle and no overmatch etc. But since you have zero replays to back up your claim. All we have is your rant.

Yeah we all know how well that worked for that "other game". Lack of RNG there had no risk = reward element. Sure it mean if your gun could pen it, it would. But it also meant more so then not, if you alpha was not enough, or you lacked pen. All you could do was run. Unlike WOT where you can gamble that he will low roll on damage if he fires first, so you can take the hit etc. Everyone wanted RNG to have a little impact as possible in the other game... in the end it was one of the reasons that killed it off oddly enough. As 90% of late games was just one team running away constantly because their lacked anything to win a 1 on 1. Because there was no risk = reward. There was just risk = death. As weakspot hits there gave 50% less damage.
