Would it be hard to implement a system in the game that allows you to see replays from anyone's point of view in that fight?

I am asking this as there were many matches in which I really wanted to see how another player did and learn from him, but it wasn't really possible.

Also, another benefit to this is that aimbotters would be very easy to trace and the number of false reports would significantly drop.

Can't do this without exposing more information to the client, which will actually increase cheating, not decrease it. Currently cheating in WoT is fairly limited, both in numbers and "cheat power", but this would change if you exposed information about every player to every client then people will look for a way to use it. Best left well enough alone since they won't even read any reports you made using this system anyway.

Well, there would be two options:

1) as Achibot said, have the server relay information from other players to your client to be recorded. However this would cause major problems. Not just that this information could be abused, but also traffic would be increased. Not a big deal for the individual clients, but with thousands of battles running at the same time this can become an issue for the servers.

2) Add server replays. Basically instead of the client have the server create the replay. That would require a completely new infrastructure though (=expensive).

Ask a player after the match explaining you would like to have his replay to learn, just might work.

From my experience with the EU player base, he might think I am offending him...

Nothing wrong with asking for a replay for educational purposes. Just compliment the player a bit and ask politely but the player might not remember which match you want if it's a while ago or his dog ate it.
