The repair time on tracks is important to know and that's why I think it is odd that the there is nowhere to see the repair speed in the garage.

We have skills and equipment to improve it, yet we don't actually have a clue of how many seconds it will take to get the tracks repaired before we enter a battle.

The only place that I can figure out how long it will take is in battle when someone shoots my tracks where a timer tells me on the track icon (not sure if that feature is part of the game or xvm)...

I know this might not be as important now when you can repair the tracks again after 90 seconds but still, it seems like an odd thing to not have as info in the garage.

Everytime a new patch came I thought it was weird that it wasn't been changed but I guess players (or WG) don't find that important?

The game arguably hides most of the important stats from sight. You can see final accuracy and aim time - but not how much the dispersion when moving/turning is. You can see horsepower per ton - but not the terrain resistance, which largely governs actual speed (hp/t matters somewhat when climbing uphill). The latter is why the CDC is considered close to fraud, as 35hp/t would suggest that it moves like greased lightning. It most certainly does not.

As for what the track repair times actually are, there are some speculations. Some argue that it's tied to track HP, which would make sense, but it isn't really that. The value is mostly arbitrary, with no real pattern between repair speed and track HP/crew number/tank class/time of day.

I think this would be a good addition to the garage, it would help during battle to calculate when you should and shouldn't use your repair kit

Also nice to see 4Tankers being referenced, I think he does great stuff, probably my favourite WOT channel.

So why not times for repairing everything else, then?

I don't see a problem with that, but the tracks are the most important repair time.

Isn't there to many variables?

You can train crew in repairs, fit toolbox and carry repair kit, not to mention crew base skills.

Don't these all bring the time to fix down?

Only tanks I have the combination of all of the above is AT2 and Tortoise.

I know that when tracks are disabled the tool box and crew skills certainly work fast to repair without using repair kit.

But yes it would be a useful option.

You could say the same thing about reload speed or traverse speed etc, a simple algorithm would work it out and change depending on the inputs.

That's what already happens in garage info regarding everything that's there.

What can be affected by consumables or equipment or skills is displayed accordingly, and the values change considering what's applied.
