I was thinking we all have maps that we hate why dont WG make a filter which alows you to tick maps that you dont like. This would help WG too they would get feedback on most hated and most popular maps.and with this feedback they could balance maps.do you think this idea would work.

They already have feedback on maps sth like which side wins more than other. And they still don't do anything.

First they should introduce a search engine to the forums that people can use before they start threads to see if the topic already exists.
What? We already have that?
Ok, ok. Then what about a brain implant that helps people with basic brain tasks? Like... if they fail to see obvious flaws of an idea they have.
Now that doesn't exist yet, right?

Quite serious jokes aside: When I play a heavy tank, I'd like to only play Himmelsdorf.

Something that has been asked for millions of times pretty much from day 1 but WG has said they will never implement this.  Plenty of other team-based shooters have map filters but WoT, for reasons, doesn't have anything like this.

Some people complain that the MM will take more time to build the teams, I think if the selection was kept small i.e. "here is the current map selection, please pick a map (1 from 4) then there wouldn't be a problem.  When I hit the battle button I usually wait about 0.3 seconds for a game to be setup, I'm happy for this to receive a twenty-fold increase if it meant I could veto sh1t maps.

I'm honestly against letting people choose ideal maps for each tank (that kind of mod will come into existance with this feature added), but if that would result in 30 TDs on Malinovka and Prokhorovka, I could totally get behind that if I didn't have to play those maps. :D

Most hate maps for different reasons. Not just because one sides win's more often. Most hate it because it don't favor the tank classes they play vs the others etc. So it won't give them more then they already knew by you "ticking" a few boxes. And heat maps is usually a better indicator of if a map works or not vs a ticked box. As pr the reason why some older maps was removed. Like South Coast that had 90% of the heat in or around the one base. As the north team usually never left their base.

Me personally hate Highway with a passion regardless of class. Not because it's one sided. Before it was due to the MM, as in the team that was medium heavy would dominate 80% of the map rather fast, and flank town. Now mediums go town to brawl anyway. So now it's just who sends less to town more so then what they have.

I suspect it's due to their focus being 100% on HD maps to care about that atm. As indicated by the mountain goat fixes for 9.20. As that seems to be done by an intern with zero intel on what spots, more then a team from WG. So even if they had a list of maps to fix. They won't deal with it for a long time still. It's almost like WOT console. That never has removed a single map, or changed spawns. As some maps have a 70% WR on one side. Still there.

I can't stand Wide Park.  Not because it is a broken map as such.  Simply, I struggle to make the map work for me.  90% of people would vote with their hearts not their heads.  Better to let WG use the massive amount of data the collect decide what maps need sorting.

TBH.  I miss almost all of the maps that have been pulled.  All were fun in their ways.  I especially enjoyed Northwest but I can understand why the map was pulled.

Edit: I am sure WG listen to player feed back.  Just not from the EU, US, Asia, China or Korea.
