Do you think T-34/85M has too much DPM for it's tier? Should DPM be nerfed? Whats your opinion?

That's because most tier 7 mediums don't really offer any improvements over tier 6 mediums if you just look at the DPM and armor. What you usually get is slightly higher penetration, slightly more hitpoints and in some cases higher alpha coupled with worse rate of fire. Overall tier 7 mediums are decent/good when played as a support role but do terribly if you decide trade shots with higher tier opponents or other mediums.

It's exactly on pair with the Cromwell. Just with higher alpha and a slower ROF. So tbh.. I have no issues with it's DPM for it's tier.  At least you don't see 6 pr battle as much anymore. Not every day the population of a tank goes up with 240 000 in a few days.

No, it doesn't have too much dpm, it has too many players. The T-34-85M was fine when it first got buffed and only *edited* who had stupidly bought it ages ago had one, it was ample reward for buying such a crap tank when new. But now every *edited*has one due to the wisdom of WG, so it's their balance and marketing departments that need nerfing. I haven't played mine since the mass giveaway and may not touch it ever again.

Is the DPM a too much of an issue? Because you don't very often get to shoot an enemy for a full minute.

The T-34/85M became an invasive spiece when everyone got one upsetting the balance of tier VI gameplay considerably. It is slowly getting better now that we dont see as many in each battle.

It was ridiculous when they released the Pudel on top of the T-34/85M invasion...

well, the date of Pudel release was dictated by history (day of capture of the real Pudel).

Yup, WG forgot to nerf the reload when the gun went from 160 alpha / 120 pen to 180 alpha / 144 pen so imo the DPM is a tad overkill and needs reducing to T-34-85 levels.

My opinion about nerfing premium tanks:

Just try it, then you can pay the bills with free players.

Let's see how long will the game exist. :coin:

Of course prepare to have a nice storm to give back the money spent in pixel tenks, not useless gold, but the cold hard cash we payed. :girl:

Of course not.

Cromwell has had the same dpm for ages now, and nobody complained.

At tier 6? Yeah more or less. As for most that got it, it's the only premium they have above tier III. So most will play the crap out of it to make credits, and thus it screws with the tier 6 MM. It was 10 000 before the event. And right after it was 250 000. Crom B is just above 100K. So it's the most popular tier 6 premium atm. And even beats most normal tier 6 meds in terms of population.

I got mine last year as a prize during the 1st round of the Archive event the Tank museum had with WG before they buffed it. Feels less special now.

The tier5 T34 Zis gun has about 150 more dpm so no it does not. Anything around the 2k dpm as standard is where any half decent tank needs to be at unless it's one of those tanks that has one mega alpha shot and needs to duck behind cover for the 5 hour reload otherwise no it's fine. The problem is that the regular T34-85 dpm sucks

What I found ridiculous was the timing of the Pudels release which from a business perspective was just plain dumb. Everyone had only JUST got their free T34-85M and were busy enjoying it and grinding crew etc yet seconds after the marathon WG release the Pudel? another tier6 medium only this cost money albeit not much but it wasn't even anything new, just a German tier6 VK 30.02 (M) with some Polish colours and "camo" sloshed on it.

Now as if that wasn't bad enough for the poor Poodle and imo the T34-85M is a better tank, WG go and give another hammer-blow to Poodle sails by bringing out another marathon type event for yet another tier6 premium lol.. I don't understand this with of thinking although that said, through sheer volume of Polish players the Poodle is selling.. even the name.. really? maybe that's historically accurate, it isn't a Polish tank btw it's a plundered German war prize obviously but you have the likes of the Tiger, the Panther, the Pershing, the Skorpion, the Hellcat, good solid tank names! this is called.. a Poodle :sceptic:

Ok so my experience with the tank with this tank,

Using Setup: Vents, Rammer, Optics

Aim time is too poor to exploit theoretical DPM, in actual use far lower.

If you drop the optics for GLD, tank is blind so can't use it's DPM.

I am thinking of using Vents, Optics, GLD to overcome the aim time problem.

This will mean lower DPM.

Either way you cut it DPM is NOT a problem with this tank.
