Is it really fair to get whatever amount of credits, probably not even 10k, for being killed by an ally? Even if it was an accident..

So you really think those, for example 4k credits, make it acceptable to be dead? while you could have done more damage and gotten more XP

Cant they give us a bit more money and XP as compensation? I dont say that the player that killed you has to pay that

There should be tier based amount of money and XP plus that bit someone has to pay you.. for the ones who do it on purpose

What do you think?

This already exists.  You get more credits for taking 500 damage in a T10 than you do for taking 40 damage in a T1.

Exactly how would software tell whether a shot was "on purpose" ?

If they didn't then friends/platoon mates would be shooting each other at the end of games in order to maximise income.

Something your post hasn't considered ... Some of the time (at higher tiers perhaps most of the time) the fault lies with the person being shot, not the shooter.

Been discussed to death for 7 years. I suspect it won't change soon.

Do you care if it was on purpose or not? I dont think you do so the software doesnt have to tell wether it is or not

And I mean the money you would receive, not the money that the guy who killed you has to pay (for example you get 10k credits at tier 7 and 15k on tier 8)

Thought about that as well, maybe this could be disabled for team kills in platoons?

And yes thats why I say the person who killed you doesnt have to pay you more, the game itself is going to pay the amount

It would be nice to have some extra compensation relative to the time the game lasted after you got damaged by a teammate. Deliberate or not, getting hp chipped away does significantly impact how you can play for the rest of the battle. Let alone getting killed by a teammate.

It doesn't matter how much you have to pay/get, but the credits must come from the player who did the damage, or else it's a wellfare state (it wouldn't work so it won't happen).

So you can debate the amount of credits that would be appropriate as compensation, but not who pays it.
The damage dealer has to pay.
No "free cash for everyone", sorry.

So people should be encouraged to grief there team because if they get shot by a teammate it's guaranteed credits.... You don't even need to load credits or consumables.

Just give the one being shot the exact amount of credits to repair the damage.

Of course the one shooting has to pay that and give him a fine on top of that, save that and give everyone who gets a battle buddy medal a small credit bonus with that medal from the fine savings.

What do you think?

So would you base compensation on a players stats? or would even the reddest of tomatoes get full compensation? And what would that figure be?

Long time ago compensation was only 25%(37.5% premium) of your repair cost.

Amount might be different, can't remember, but it was a lot less than now.

Can you imagine the chat at the end of a game?  "Can someone please shoot me I need credits."?

Exactly.

Stuff like this would happen if:

* the shooter doesn't have to pay himself 100% of repairs for the damage he's done, or if

* the repair compensation for team damage exceeds the real cost of repairs for that amount of damage.

It would get abused unfortunately. There's no way to stop trolls from driving in front of you intentionally when you're firing, they already do to try to get you banned. Imagine if they got paid for it....
WG could just put a fine that they take if you shoot alies but again trolls would probably use it to make you lose credits. Ppl are [edited]*shrug*

You mean so people provoking teamkills get rewarded? Way too easy to abuse, every second platoon would simply go kill each other.

It is not neccessarily tk, but sometimes you die cos your dumb team mate is blocking or tracking you.

I do think, that we should get more compensation for TK.

If you die to TK, for example, teammate pays a compensation AND the repair costs.

Arty should have damage tolerance at each tier, AoEs happen.

No, it wouldn't get abused. First few that would try would quickly start getting blue or banned. I see no point in arguing against more severe credit punishments after team damage.
