Everybody knows that they are reworking the tier 8-10s, but what about the tier 7 one?

Correct me if Im wrong but the tier 7 tank isnt getting a rework as far as I know.. the tier 5 and 6 TDs have something going for them, even though i have to say they arent amazing.

But the tier 7? one of the worst tanks I have ever played

Why cant this tank get an autoloader as well?

So what if its given a gun similar to the one that you get on the 50 100.. obviously they have to take away some shells, but wouldnt that at least give that tank a place in the game?

And now dont come and say it would be too strong at tier 7 to have like 3x300 damage in one clip, it simply isnt compared to the tier 8-10s

gun stats would be:

penetration and damage stay the same

aim time: 2.5s

dispersion: 0.36

reload: 32s

intra-clip reload: 2.7s

that would mean:

tier 7 - 3x300=900 average damage per clip

tier 8 - 3x400=1200 average damage per clip

tier 9 - 4x400=1600 average damage per clip

tier 10 - 6x400=2400 average damage per clip

So what do you think?

How about a stronger armor and better penetration? Thing looksl like a Jagdpanther clone.

I find WoT having an abundance of cliptanks.

WG doesn't care about anything below T8 for now, pretty much all changes (short of the Pudel) since 9.17.1 have been T8+ only as that is where they can make most of their money.

How 'bout the "T29 treatment" for the lot ? You know, make the vision devices not have collision. It would actually make its armor usable.
T29 benefited immensely from it as it became probably the best tier 7 after that, the Super Pershing has only one cupola weakspot instead of two (the small one has no collision) and so on.

My experience in the AC 46 was a so-so one. I used the 90mm gun and had a reload of about 6.7s. It was good enough (not the 5s from the 88 on the Jagdpanther).
The armor worked when I used the 10 degrees of gun depression but not when I was fighting on even ground as everyone and their relatives were firing at the "boobs" on top.

Tier 7 was not the worst in that line "tier 8 was for me". But the gun was not the worst part about it if. Armor was. And if they had to fix anything, it would be that. Not the side armor like they have fixed on the high tiers. But the frontal armor to. That would have made me buy it back over a clip gun.

I played 35 games in the AC46 yesterday. I don't think it needs any buffs, it's an ok tank.

Strong points are decent gun and depression and sometimes people bounce on your front.

Weak points are narrow traverse and very high cupolas which make fighting enemies already aimed in very hard. HP is a bit low and a few tanks you meet can oneshot you with highrolls.

The matchmaker was really kind, I would guess around 10 games were against tier 9 and the rest was top/mid. Lots of tier 5-6 to farm.
