Just saw a thread about platoons being punished with the current MM (which is true, platoons are always bottom tier) swiftly locked by a moderator.

Ok, there's a thread for MM discussion.

How many pages long?

Same for arty.

Who reads them? What's the point posting the 5786th reply in those threads?

If I open a thread about me wanting a birthday cake with a sugar tank on top of it (with pics, of course), it will be perfectly fine.

But it isn't fine to open a thread about one the most disheartening features of the game.

Nobody wants a bazillion threads about the same topic, would you say?

Well, if there are a bazillion threads about the same topic, it's because the topic is hot and needs attention, not a first class burial.

Not trying to discuss moderation here, I perfectly understand how things go.

Just asking to cut us some slack at times, people are upset and often rightfully so, being pointed to a warpthread doesn't do any good to communication methink.

Thanks for you attention.

To answer this question yourself, in a way, why not see how many views/replies/pages they have compared to non-pinned threads...

It's a way to stop our Edited and pretend that everything is ok, they lock the threads-> sent you to a pinned thread that nobody reads and gg everything's fine

I mean look a the SPG/artillery thread, is outdated locked and serves no purpose at all, yet its been there since 27 of aprill. shows exactly how the monitoring works  ( lol sorry jak)

Don't read pinned threads ever, it's just a 'wall of sound' in terms of information. And whether it's a matter of perception or intention they are the graveyard for many otherwise interesting threads. Tactically I notice players seem to find it worthwhile posting yet another arty or MM thread simply because they get the required nugget of information or feedback before it is moved to the chaos of the pinned thread, so it's a self generating sequence of events.

THIS

Pinned stuff should be IMPORTANT. It shouldn't be just "the most common discussion", because most peoples comments on a certain topic will never be seen in the wall of sound.
