So, I'm curious who are you watching on Twitch and why? Are you a sub of anyone? And what have you learned from them?

Edit: This cracks me up

I don't really want to watch people play WoT when I can play the game perfectly fine as well.

I dont watch streams, seems like a waste of time,  why watch someone else play when I can play myself?

On Sundays, after lunch or in the evening, I sometimes watch a German "Letsplayer" on YouTube playing all kinds of storydriven games, but... that's it.
That kind of... uh... "entertainment" is completely beyond me. I rather spend my time doing something else.

Circon, Skill4ltu & Trobsmonkey are the only 3 I regularly peek in at when I'm on twitch related to WOT that is.

Circon can be entertaining. Skill4ltu because he is usually more cheerful then most. And Trobs because he is a mix of both. Not subbed anyone for ages there tbh.

I don't like playing in the (late) evening. If I have a particularly intense game it can mess up my sleeping patterns, and often enough I just prefer to kick back and relax. You can't do that when battling yourself.

No, even artillery does not lead to easy games for me. I score pretty high in the area of "weird areas I ended up in in arty"-meter anyway.

Examples for my G.W Panther, including but not limited to: The lighthouse on Cliffs, midridges on Malinovka and Prokhorovka alike, the scout rocks in the middle of the map on Steppes, in the opposing corner on Sand River, on the TD mountain from the opposing side on Arctic Region, and that is even disregarding the times I just went TD-mode and blasted around in the city streets.

It happens that I lay my eyes on Pynti to look at his moustache. Sadly there's no chest hair to be seen since Obadience [redacted].

it's called "entertainment"....though, if the streamer doesn't talk and is just playing and additionally isn't very good, so I can't even learn something, then YES, it's a waste of time

Why do people watch others playing sports that they could play themself?

You could argue the same about any sport.

There is a bit of a difference. And not only because I neither have a soccerfield nor a racetrack at home...

Well, there is quite a difference.

First off,  you cant always do sports, you need a certain space, clothes, equipment etc.  Also, you cant play sports the whole day. Also, most people arent as good as sports as the people they watch. Also, sports is physical effort, watching a stream isnt.

With a game, you are in front of your PC, the stream is on the PC, so is the game, it requires just as much physical effort ( none) for both.

And in my case I am just as good if not better than most streamers, so there isnt much admiring of achievments or learning to do.
