I'm taking a little break from wot.

Last week (i think it was thursday), i played like 20-25 battles.

I got some nice games with kv2 and t43, but i made the mistake of playing is7 and t-10.

Just this: i was aiming at a bc 25t and i got a ricochet, and the next battle i made a ricochet ( is this the right expression?) to a TVP!

Last battle, with an is7 perfectly hulldown in erlenberg i was penned twice in the turret by an obj 268 4, which is just amazing considering i managed to block heat shots from jgpz. e100 holding hulldown positions in is7.

It's just amazing, my is7 is not able to hit a full aimed target at 300m while an obj268 4, wich has a far worse accuracy, was able to hit my is7 hulldown at 150-200 m and pen my turret.

I think i've been very unlucky but rng and sigma are not working as intended.

Btw, watching shishx getting a "very nice"© acetanker with cromwell increased my desire to get back to wot.

In one month time I will be taking a small break from WoT as well. Gonna quit my job and go bike-packing in quite a few countries. :)

Will be back in september if all goes well. :)

I will break it into 5 trips.

- A short one in England, along Hadrian's Wall and into Lake District. Went there a few years ago and promised myself I will be back with my own bike and have another go at it.

- A 3 week long one back home in Romania, covering almost 1500km across the Carpathians and Transylvania.

- A 2 week long one in Georgia into the Caucasus, planning on doing a loop starting from Tblisi and into Tusheti.

- A month long one starting from Nice and ending in Ljubljana going across the arc of the Alps (this should be quite hardcore and fun).

From Ljubljana I am thinking at jumping on a train to Belgrade and continuing from there along the Danube towards and again into Romania. I might keep at it on bikes, but right now I am not sure and will see when the time comes. After a month of high altitude MTBing I don`t fancy low plains riding that much. :)

Then search for a job again as my funds will be probably close to zero at that moment. And start saving cash for some future bike adventures. :)

Usually on these kind of trips there is always something that I could not have planned for and I will have to adapt / overcome. But life is too short to spend it only in front of a monitor at work and maybe some hiking weekends. :great:

wow, some epic trips lined up :amazed: i enjoy a bit of biking but don't think i'd manage any of them :teethhappy:

i visited Hadrian's wall a couple of years ago, Birdoswald and some other fort who's name i forget lol. it would be a long walk from rome although birdoswald was manned by dacians

and you might get lucky, it could even be dry in may, for a day or two :P

I am so not planning on that. Coming with rain jacket, spare pants, spare socks, weather in britain is rarely sunny. :)

Btw, did not know Birdoswald was manned by dacians, this is quite a funny bit of trivia. My ancestors were dacians, and it may be a lot of walking from Rome to the wall, but from Dacia it was almost double the distance. Coming from the other border of the empire to man a border fort. How ironic. :) When passing Birdoswald I will pause for a minute, thinking at all those poor dacian bastards that came there before me... Funny how ultranationalistic some people get sometimes, when in reality we are all blood brothers in the end.
