Hi

Normally i dont care about bots ( if they even exist ), or post any replays about them either, but this replay i must share.

It happens between 14 - 13 min.

Its like that T26e5 Patriot had some programming errors. I hit it when it goes forward, then it starts to reverse. I hit it again, then it starts moving forward again. That patriot does that until i destroy it. Normally when i use that spot and shoot tanks, they just drive forward and get cover

that sure looks like a bot, however there's no way to tell 100%. all too often i see people that act like bots but they're just poor players.

sunday there was a panzer h on murovanka that went to a corner of the map and sat there for a few minutes without moving. then started moving forward 2 tank lengths and backward. and he kept doing this until somebody said in chat we should report him for bot. at which point he actually started writing and told us he was laying an ambush. he spent about 7 minutes laying that ambush while our arties hunted their arties.

and on saturday there was an is-6 that kept driving erratically on the back of the map and from time to time it would stop and turn several times on the spot.

again it turns out it was a real person that responded in chat telling us he's testing the traverse as he was sure the is-6 was ninja nerfed.

so yeah, people are strange and do all sorts of stupid things.

I have watched the replay.

A bot indeed.

His stats:

Victories Battles
43.24% 17,949

Let me guess, WG will never BAN him....

Ps.: I intentionally did not mention his name...

One way to find out if he was a bot or not is the following.

Even if someone is stupid, he/she will try out different things is something does work.

On the other hand, a bot .. a program  (which is not able to learn, to discover new things) just does the same reaction again and again. And this T26E5, just repeated the same thing.

Was hit, then move back. ....

What's the purpose of these bots?

I understand they can grind out a Tier X through sheer persistance, i.e. number of hours played, but they end up with 43% WR and their other stats are shite, too.
So why bother?

I mean it's not like anyone would want to buy a 43% & 0 WN8 account.
Or would they??? :/

Don't forget lag. One minute driving purposefully towards the front line, everything freezes and next minute you are climbing a wall/plummeting from a cliff/drowning in a lake. Probably doesn't look too impressive.

While in that specific battle might have been indeed something to do with lags his total win rate of barely above 43% suggests that he either plays very poorly (i.e. botting) or has such lags way too often.

So either way he should stop playing until the problems (either lags or bot usage) have been solved.

Speaking of bots, what about the Chi-Nu Kai here?

Chi-Nu Kai may had network problem. Therefore Chi-Nu Kai just does the last actions. Like moving forward and shooting.

But don't worry, WG's automatic bot detection system is hard at work getting rid of these bot accounts..........oh wait.......

Want to make a bet that that guy will still be playing in two months?

That 40% win rate dude only has 1k games could be a new player. Generally if people have sub 45% win rate I assume they can't be bots because bots can't play in a manner that is so actively detrimental to produce such results.
