We all have bad teams that attack clumsily and either all die in the push or stop to defend and then die. That I can live with, no pun intended.

But over the recent days I am getting more and more teams that just move out of base and stop around it, basically cornering themselves from the start. No organised defence, not even trying to achieve something, they just stand and wait to die. Like a bunch of sheep in their meadow mesmerised by the wolves howling from the nearby forest.

I can work with stupid people who are at least trying to gain map control, but such gutless surrender from the start leaves me utterly frustrated. Oh I appreciate a good defensive stance, but this is not it. Just sheep waiting to be slaughtered. Sigh.

Whenever that happens to me, I just leave the game and go relax myself from these terrible teams. Then I come back later, still the same thing... I guess it's just bad luck?

Of course it is bad luck, just as when you lose on casino slot machines :)

No doubt they were worried when they discovered a Welshman on the other team with a tank motto - "Everyone's fluffy one"

Are you saying the playerbase has decreased in skill last 3 weeks?

How is that possible?

Renaming lemmings "sheep" does not make them a new thing. Interesting attempt though...   And yes, lemmings don't always charge to their deaths. Often as not they all go to one spot together to build Lemmingrad. Unfortunately for them they don't have a team of millions of Union of Soviet Socialist Rodents providing enough staying power to save them and thus do indeed simply get slaughtered.

Sorry, my aim is pretty off since I am too bussy sing along with / screaming "primo victoria" until the neighbours start complaining... It totally distracts me from my gameplay...

Actially, it's the other way around.

WoT players brought all their "tactics" to WoWS. That's why you see sidescraping high tier BBs scratcjing their nose on islands...and die seconds later to a wave of torps. I didn't derp deliberately in 1.5k+ games in WoT for nothing. ^^

Like this is new. :( My usual response (if I notice this early enough) is I fall back, use them as shield/spotters and just farm damage.

How come you never post on the forums with "OMG my enemy team was so hopeless" or "I keep getting enemy teams doing stupid stuff" etc?

How come you think it makes any difference if the enemy "team" is like that and not yours? Do you enjoy winning in this pseudo PVE mode? Equally demeaning to all parties concerned, not that you are concerned.

I have said it time and again - I want properly balanced teams and have zero interest in pre-programmed wins any more than I do in pre-programmed defeats. But you will notice only what you want to notice, not the first time you have done that and surely not the last.

My point is, this happens on BOTH sides, and you make out this is a bad thing but only ever whine about it when it is YOUR team affected.  You are playing 'RANDOM' battle mode.  The teams you get will be made of players selected at random (from the available pool, obviously).  This means you can get even teams, or very mismatched teams.  You want 'even' teams there are game modes that can cater for this.  You just don't appear to want what you say you want.

Three of last five games I had last night where exactly this.

Serene coast, north spawn, T57H. I went down 9-0 by the water with a is-7 and a Tortoise. The rest of 12 tanks - camped without even spotting across the rails. Second on team dmg.

Windstorm, south spawn, M44. Nobody going west. All went to the closest mid ridge. Since we had only one heavy, nobody went city. Amazing. T8, me first on team dmg.

Murovanka, north spawn, M44. Nobody goes heavy side. All go forest and stop at middle. T8, me third on team dmg.

The rest was great too. KV-1S "lets all rush valley" on Lakeville. 5 follow him, all die in 2 minutes as i predicted and told in chat at start: "Stupidest idea ever. And TD-s are gonna farm you."

That is what I got: 2 won 7 lost playing solo. And it was all after MM took our 3 platoon that was bottom tier for 10 games straight (one game in 5pmm was t6) so we played t10 to be top tier and trick MM. Both games only t10 tanks.

Although i could live with MM cr.pping on our toon, and ofc switching servers did not help (tinfoil check) those games at the end where too much.
