Just wondering if there are any such mods?

Not that I want one but got hit twice by blind shots in one game today. First i can take as I was in a position where one might try your luck (not spotted) but there you go. Second one a minute or so later was again blind, in a different position and got my suspicions up.

I had taken one shot in each location if it matters.

No. Not on either or beforehand. Early in the game.

I've got to ask: was your commander wounded?

I've just got so used to people not checking anything before posting that I may as well be the first to suggest it.

Good question but again no. Full HP when I took the first hit. No critical damage before or after

It felt suspicious or perhaps the guy rolled the dice and got lucky. Dunno really but it did not feel right at all

No mod can show enemy movement if they are not spotted. You could years ago, but the second mods for it did appear. WG told the server never to tell your client that until the target is spotted. So your client gets no info at all on unspotted enemy movement. As most illegal mods do just that, show hidden info you get from the server.

But still we lack any info on map, tank, locations, or even a replay. Or even if you did fire on them before you took a hit. As if you are on top of a hill with one bush in it. Then it's not hard to guess where to send that blind shot, as the hit indicator is rather accurate on directions. That and most, inc me on some maps do the mandatory blind fire on some spots moving up early game. Because 9 out 10 games there is a scour or a TD there after 30 seconds.

There is a thing called redball mod or something like that. When you fire it shows red ball that basically marks your spot.

Spoiler

Some positions are obvious so people sometimes blindfire them when they have nothing else to aim at. Also you have to be careful with teammates behind you. They can get spotted and when you are between them and whoever is shooting them it's you that is going to be hit.

As for cheat mods, I believe there are mods that show where trees and other objects have been knocked down or destroyed so try not to drive through fences and other stuff when you do not want others to know where you are.

Only works with arty tho. As you can see a tracer even if they are not spotted. So that's basically what they use.

A few players fire blind at areas they nearly always see someone at, it is a calculated gamble, you must have been at one of these places and the gamble paid off. Or sometimes they miss and hit someone else, it really does happen.

Not unless the WG-servers are hacked:
Cheating, mods and the res_mods-folder in WoT

Well there is also the map mod that shows falling trees etc. If he took down half the forest getting there, it's not complicated to figure out his spot. Even without the mod.

it's not that important early game as everything is being destroyed but late on in a close game it can be the difference between winning and losing. The cheating scum who know exactly where to point there gun does have a huge advantage as you drive blindly into there line of sight.

It's not only idiots who use cheats, decent players that know how to make proper use of the more useful cheats become unicums, proven fact.

I was really hoping that the obstacle destruction mod would be banned, but I used to be in a clan where many people used it. I think its still working. It's pathetic.

Which is why I never drive over anything mid to late game.

The player will be banned only if WG detects that mod. ....

I make random blind shots on many maps, especially in beginning of games and with tanks that have a lot of ammo. You don't lose much credits anyway, especially in premium tanks.

Cheers. The guy probably chanced his arm then. I'm just being curious more than anything as it did feel odd at the time.

First time I concede was a position that would be worth taking a pot shot at. 2nd shot less so but the guy obviously thought it worthwhile and it paid off. Worth noting that he hadn't been spotted at the time either. Early game.

Anyway we won the game, I survived, not my best game by a long way but a win is a win and so onto the next.
