So basically I got tired of my BenQ 19inch 1600x900 px TFT panel so I want an upgrade, mind you I am on a very small budget of $150 (130 Euros), what I have in mind currently is this http://www.benq.com/...onitor/gw2470h/ so as you can see preferred panels would be VA, resolution FullHD and a display size of 21"-24" because of my small budget.

ips very nice, but for low cost gaming, surely response times +lag are more important?

All of those monitors on that list are unfortunately out of my price range.

1st & 2nd gen Samsungs can be had pretty cheap.

This one's a 46" that I fixed for $9.00 USD.  It needed some blown capacitors replaced.

Not rocket science.  I just followed the how to on Youtube.

Good  quality, as long as your computer can drive it in full HD.

Unless your video content is ratio-ed for an ultra-wide, won't you just see a stretched picture?

Yes?

From what I seen on the reviews content that usually has black bars on top and on the bottom in the 16:9 display ration it shows without them on the 21:9, on the other hand normal videos from youtube will show some black bars on the 21:9 aspect ratio, but on the plus side, I heard gaming on one is pretty sweet if the game supports that resolution.

This one has been in my workshop for three years as a computer monitor and game screen.

I've never seen black borders on Youtube, and it has played Quake, Bio-Shock and pretty much all of my Steam games in full 1080p with no problems at all.

I've got a bad case of CRS.

Post-its are not a cure, but they treat the symptoms.
