any help would be much appreciated.

Thunderbolt because you haven't got to tier 8 yet so the Thunderbolt will train your crew whilst also allowing you to get more familiar with the game before going into tier 9 battles.

Also, with your current skill level and not having any tier 8s yet, so not really knowing the tier 8/9 weak spots you would need to fire a lot of premium ammo with the Super Pershing, decreasing your profit.

Thunderbolt all the way. I won't touch that piece of super pershing.

Go for the Thunderbolt. As it's armor gun combo makes it more friendly for you. As the crew slots are the same. So for crew training.  It gets the job done. As you don't have a tier 8, and the pen on the SP is rather low if you are not used to fighting tier 9's. As I suspect you are not. And it's cheaper so why not.

The Super Pershing would make more money while you're training, while the Thunderbolt might find some use in Stronghold Skirmishes.

You could make your choice depending on that.

Also, you might consider the Thunderbolt's special crew comes with the BiA skill right from the start, while the tank is also cheaper, so for around the price difference you could buy another great crew trainer on Tier VI. So the Thunderbolt has quite a lot going for it, in my opinion.

To be fair it might have to spam more premium ammo though, because the base AP pen is amongst the poorest in it's tier.
On the other hand, the Super Pershing would probably be facing very heavily armored opposition even more often (and it's AP pen ain't awesome either), so who knows which one would have to shell out more cash for APCR.

All in all, if I were a new player I guess I'd probably rather buy two Tier VIes instead of one Super Pershing.
But have fun with your own decision. :)

Nice result, but scarcely the usual experience in the Pooper-Pershing - especially with the new premiums and MatchMaker 2.0.

That and for a med to sacrifice speed for armor that doesn't work most of the time is a bad move.

Yup, most of my Spartan and Steel Wall medals come from redline camping.

Good choice, as tempting as a tier 8 medium trainer is you won't have that much fun with it. There is a reason why everybody says don't get a tier 8 if you didn't reach that tier yet or have xxx battles.

Thunderbolt is trash. armor makes only sense against lower tiers and you give up speed for it. even a bad player will still make money in the SP and with the TB you will have to face those tier 8's anyway..

Super P is the cheapest T8 premiumtank. It trains your crew faster as the Thunderbolt because of its tier (the higher the tier of the premium vehicle the higher the bonus crew xp). BUT

As you have no experience with T8 vehicles at all you will suffer with his vehicle and bad performance equals bad crew xp regardless of its bonus multiplier.

According to http://wot-news.com the Super P is a vehicle that correspons with the players skill meaning

statistically starting with 49% winrate overall you will also have a 49% winrate on the super P. This doesnt change even for very good players. Players under 49% generally get worse winrate

on the Super P than their overall winrate.

The Thunderbolt performs above average for players of all skill levels. This together with you lack of experience in hightiers i highly recommend you to buy the Thunderbolt.

*note the Thunderbolt comes with a special 100% fully trained crew with 1 "free" skill brothers in arms. This skill acts as the "0" skill meaning if you start training a 2nd skill it will train as fast as if it

was the first skill ...(every subsequent skill levels slower as the previous one)

You do not get a result like that in the Pooper-Pershing red line camping - even with kind mm and poor red team I expect he played his socks off.

obviously, tier 8 is the best bang for the buck, because tier 8 earns much more base XP than tier 6.
