Only thing they said this week was that it's to early to share any info on the new tech tree on who or what it's going to be like. As they are still not 100% sure them self. It's being worked on, and the second the tree is ready, it will be released for super test and the info will be shared with us.

What exactly could a European tech tree be? There are already smaller and medium sized nations that have their own tech trees.

iv'e gathered that some years ago a paneuropean tech tree was proposed to encompass nations that couldn't have complete tech trees by themselves, i.e. with all tiers occupied. i think the idea has been dismissed since it wasnt' popular among either players or the developers and it doens't really pop up any more

Who knows. Polish tech tree has been an idea at WG for years, and was first set for a 2015 release, but tier 8+ tanks was a big issue that held it back even then. And back in 2014 they actually did a render of it for a WG book. And it was mentioned it as a possible tier X Polish tank, as it's gun and armor was not broken "for the 2014 meta that is". But the rear turret was made of paper and would be an issue. But since then we have hardly heard anything about it. So we have zero clue if it's still planned or scrapped. Just gonna have to wait for WG to finish working on the tech tree for us to know.

If anyone is wondering... It's this monstrosity.

i wonder what the point in the separate tracks is. it's not that there's any use in htem moving independently

Prior to the introduction of the Czech tech tree, it was an idea banded around, but I don't think it is really on the cards anymore with two of the nations that would have been pillars of the tree (Czech and Swedish) having their own separate tree now.

I know. I am just being mean.

Czech have 1 single tank line and have their own tree. I don't think that's a big issue.

Maybe they will mush them together after they introduce a few more and it gets messy.

Wg have said they want complete tech trees up to tier 10, and I really think the remaining European nations would struggle to achieve that. The Hungarians for example are just appearing in the German tech tree (though yes, the Czechs did the same thing).

Easier to maintain maybe? Also easier to traverse terrain with independent suspension for each set.
