Hey, just got an hour ban because of some yolo'er who drove into the path of my shell to try and steal a kill, obviously this wasn't my fault but I'm worried this now get applied to some additive thing and if it happens in future it will be a worse penalty? Or does it not work like that? Does it reset after a certain amount of time? /shrug.

Thanks.

TK system keeps record of your team damage but for shorter periods of time. If you get banned for an hour, after dozen or so games you won't get banned for accidental shot again.

Not sure about more severe ban, as I've not been banned for longer than 1 hour.

One shell 'accidentally' killing a tank doesn't get you an auto ban, so you've been a bad boy in previous games and the amount of team damage has caught up with you. Keep getting one hour bans and the ban is extended, and keep on doing more damage again and you get a permanent ban. There is a medal you can win for going 50 battles without hitting a friendly tank, try for one of those.

You send a memo to HR saying "long term contracts only, no more temps." You may have to wait though for any current short term employment contracts to expire. :)

(As others have said, bans do not normally happen just from one stray shot, and there is no such thing as kill stealing. You are on the same team trying to eliminate the enemy together).

If you get banned again while you are still blue.  You will get a longer ban.  This rolls on with longer periods of being blue until you are banned permanently.  However, given you have only ever shot one ally once and the system screwed you over by banning you (Congratulations on breaking the system you really should open a ticket to WG about that as getting banned of a single shot only happens in spawns / caps.) it's a non issue.

you lost me at the killsteal, this is a team game.

i am more interesting to know why you have rushed to tier X with that low battle count.

Clan battles, look at his profile.  Simple research really.  Given the number of battles he actually has I am surprised he does not know the sanctions system.

Indeed, I like to save my quota of clean sheets for a teammate that totally and accidentally deserves it.

Of course it wasn't your fault, obviously. The replay clearly shows that, doesn't it?

You sure he wasn't actually the one to spot that enemy for you?

Ehm, since he got in the way of your grenade he was closer to the enemy than you were and probably busy enough to avoid getting shot by the enemy.

You were farther away from the enemy, therefore in a more safe position (heck, you might have even been not yet spotted, who knows), so you would have had enough time to take a quick glance at the minimap or maybe not use the largest sniper view magnification to notice a friendly coming around instead of hogging a tunnel view.

Very obvious is was your fault, and as others wrote you don't get banned for a single shot. Even killing a friendly in the cap circle by and large only makes you blue.

Well, I guess we'll never see the replay, but by and large we can safely assume that the situation wasn't even remotely like you described.

It's kind of twisted 3 damage done even tracking in 1 game = auto temp ban. A KV2 1 shotting you with derp gun as soon as countdown ends because he has a beef with someone in the same clan as you doesn't turn blue....  # logic.

The closest thing I see that could be called killstealig, it the freaking stat obsessed idiots purposely blocking enemy tanks to get the damage themselves.  Had this happen latest yesterday.  That is utter BS and I sertainly let him know it.

Nope, could be because he was one shot from full HP? /shrug.

Very obvious is was your fault,

He was in a LT capping out their base, I was in a HT advancing on and out trading their last tank (also a HT) with assistance from our arty (we were 3v1).  Our LT abandoned capping and drove across the map then swerved in from of me to block my LOS and get the last hit, unfortunately for him his plan backfired as I was firing a howitzer round as he powerslide in to block and he took it straight into the rear for 100% of his HP.  So yeah that's what I consider trying to steal a kill and being a total **** to your teammates (also it could be called Karma lol).

On the plus side our arty managed to bring home the win, not sure if he capped or shotgunned the guy.

Basically I got given a free Excelsior as a signing up bonus last Christmas, it was some kind of promotion, I then bought an IS-6B because I thought it looked cool.  The result of this was a trial by fire that forced me to learn/research fast and as a result I don't really like lower tier battles as it just feels like picking on people.

Like I said, it's evident in the replay you've provided. Although those aren't needed really, as everyone always describes exactly what happened and not at all what they make it up to be...

Nope, I got one-shotted in my T25/2 by friendly KV-2 on purpose and he didn't even turn blue. So you must have done some team damage earlier. But don't worry, it happens and it goes away, trust me I know.

You picking on lower tier players? Something doesn't add up.
