Hi All,

I'm new to Forums....

Is there any way of checking connection speed before starting a battle?

I rely on wi-fi for connections. All too often ping speed can b half a second or more which makes battles a complete waste of time. To add insult to injury if you drop out of a battle you get a letter of complaint from the management for inactivity!

Alternatively are there ways of making connection speed faster?

Assuming your not using a dial up connection a speed test is quite irrelevant, you can have a 10Mbit/s and have zero issues while someone with a 1Gbit/s experience tons of issues, it all comes down to the path the data travel between your client and WG's servers, to understand more I suggest that you read this: https://eu.wargaming...kb/articles/461

I used to use wi-fi and ping was abysmal. Changed to wired and no issues with ping.

So if u can try wired see if it makes a difference.
