Dear Wargaming!

You said if the bl-9s is researched and purchased on the ISU-152 we'll get the new top gun which is the D-4s but i didn't get the D-4s while i purchased the bl-9s before 9.20

It is supposed to start later in September.

Five best player of the loosing team should earn a Shevron also. If and when your team sucks and you are one of the top player you don't get currently any reward. You only keep you place but you don't progress. This makes the progress really slow and mentally annoying. Because of this I most like will stop playing this mode soon...

I have 1 thing I want changed more then anything. Let us complete missions in ranked. I just dont see why I should not be able to get my top of the tree completed.

(apart from that, some sort of skill balance between teams, 1-3 is tomato rng eg. who gets the most tomatos, 4-5 is the unicorn lottery eg. who gets the unicorns win. Of course no rule without exception, but this is where 90% of the games are decided before the clock starts)

(arty, hate it)

(type 5's, hate them, but at least can fire prem back at them)

I tried new ranked battles mode.
After few hours,   I decided to quit playing this game mode.
Here are some of the reasons:
1. I don't like new map rotation. (Too many tunnel and city maps)
2. The basic meaning of this game mode is not fulfilled - This should be mode where players are separated by rang. Reseting stats time after time, force players to play against diferent rangs again and again. Once a player has reached a certain rank, he must play again with players of lower rank. In this way this game mode loses its meaning.

3. Players are playing unreasonably massively again.The whole team goes to the same side of the map etc. Players play for themselves and not for team. This system rewards such a way of playing rather than playing for the team.
4. This game mode is limited for X tier.
5. RNG is 16th enemy player. WG is 17th.
8. ETC....
Tell me a good reason to play this game mode ever again ?

I think you missed the reason they took away getting a chevron for sitting at the back letting your team die.  Now you have to try to win.

 

Personally I would have had the top 5 winners get two, the rest of the winning team get one and the losers all lose one.

Hello,

 

I wish WG could prepare itself FULLY to test new 'baby'. I think it is easy to predict that it will be high volume of players joining a 'ranked battles' in early stage so checking the network hardware is crucial.

Just played or TRIED to play ranked battles and each time ping 999 causing me to lose my chevrons. The whole game is clogged, i was forced to 'desert' the battle as i don't want to wait 15 min to finish a game while doing circles around. 

 

For those trying to jump on me to tell me "check your internet speed" i have few other words. I was able to play perfectly fine a random battles until 18:00pm when the Ranked Battles kicked in.

I switched to EU2 server and can play random battles without any issues. Server EU1 on the other hand is 999ping.

 

I guess not everybody can "enjoy" new product. 

 

 

ps, tried to play ranked battles...enjoyed it less than a season 1, switched to random battles and i'm happier.

Much worse than stage 1, doesn't matter how good you are playing, but about your team quality.

Today I played 30 battles, but I had only 13 wins and earn rank 2!!!!!

I'm avarage player (WN8 1700), but this is totaly frustrated....

Similar situation here. Just WN8 is little bit higher.

Agree with this. I will give this mode a try for few more evenings and the quit it ... trying to gain chevrons is more than annoying ..

Why don't you get medals like "top gun" and "readly walters" etc. in ranked battles mode?

Basically its the same thing as random only tier x with max 2 arty and now you can achive master badges.

I think we should get the same medals as in random.

Hello, only thing that i would complain it's your battle time, you start at 17:00 until 23:00.

In my clan we are all around age of 40, with jobs, kids, etc. Your time only let us to play from 21:30 until 23:00, you could create another periode to play, like a morning schedule time.

If you want to avoid people to play too much time, create a registraction for people who can play in morning and other to play aftermoon.

So in three days of playing I've managed to get to rank 3..... 10 times.....

 

I'm a unicum player, I don't consider myself world class but I'm fairly competent, but in this second season I feel like a hamster on a wheel. I know they said that they wanted to make it more challenging to get to higher ranks than the previous season, but the problem is the difficulty is artificial and it comes from all the wrong places. More often than not, it's all about RNG is team quality, which has frack all to do with personal skill.

 

Arty is still a problem, I feel like they didn't read the feedback at all, because if they had they would of reduced arty numbers to ONE per team or none at all. They removed some toxic maps like cliff and live oaks from the rotation, yet they left maps like erlemberg in.

 

I don't know what to say, it's like one step forward and three steps backward with them...

After playing ranks a bit further the teams got a bit more balanced so maybe not all five should not get a shevron. But still I think the best 3 in the loosing team should get shevron and places 4 and 5 keeps they rank.

I'm one of those who complained a lot about ranked battles because of their s**t metagame. I have to admit that the matches "quality" is increased, its more enjoyable thant the last time, map rotation is better and arty is little less a problem.

BUT. There are still some problems, as everyone above is saying.

1. Your team decides if you loose or not, always.
2. OBJ 907 should be banned from this mode.
3. Too much up and down because of point 1. At least give 2 chev. to the top 3-5 of the winning team.

4. And this is a problem outside Ranked Battles: Improved Equipment should never be allowed to use in Random Battles against casual or average players. Unicums and NoLifers are already better then them. Why give them another advantage? Give them badges and costumizations but not equip. that improve their already high skill.

Artys are still crap! If you play heavy tank on opened maps you are for sure getting raped. So I would also agree to have one per team or non at all! It is special mode... not classic random battle.

Yup. Especially when enemy has 2x BC 155 58 and your team 2x GW.
