so what is ur opinion?

are u ok with how arty is now?

cs im not so sure.

in fact, i think arty is worse then it was before. 

due to the short reloads arty is everywhere and all the time.

id personally rather see arty back as it was before...

Well, it's better than before, but there are still enough artyplayers to provide 2-3 arties in peak time matches - and the experience is pretty much identical to pre-9.18MM when the artillery has found its prey.

for the prey its about the same feeling.

but because of the shorter reload + stun

the time you actually feel affected by arty is much longer.

plus more tanks are prey parallel because of the shorter reload times.

so the time arty is influencing the game in a battle in total increased dramatically, i feel.

maybe somebody can back this up with real numbers.

It's much better than before. Playing it is almost "fun", playing against it is way less frustrating and it's finally not just another damage dealer class anymore.

But it still needs finetuning, which includes removing the possibility for it to become toptier in a match.

It is just that 'ok', not great but also not the game ruining annoyance it used to be.

Low numbers also helps, seems many of the arty bobs dropped the class once they couldn't one bob people or take half their hp, means that griefing and trolling has less impact which seemed to be the whole reason many played arty.

Dunno, being permastunned by multiple arts sucks and now they dont attack heavys because they dont damage them anymore, they rather shoot paper tanks for bigger numbers.

 

Unless its my Emil1 cuz they love crapping all over that amazing 20mm heavy tank side armor....

I think that the splash ratius should be nerfed a bit, because the stun mechanic can be really annoying when an arty focus you. Maybe add a countermeasure like if you get stunned you become immune to further stuns for a time limit or something. And three arites per team is still too much, limit them to two.

It's much easier than before to deal damage in arty.

Laser precision, splash, stun, all of that make it as obnoxious as ever.

Needs to be removed, it never proved to be useful at dealing with campers and it only annoys active players.

 

WG acknowledged arty has been a failure from the get-go since they changed how they work repeatedly and finally limited their number more and more.

1 is still too much, delete!

 

This is for randoms.

For clan wars, nobody cares.

3 arty is a lot worse, otherwise it's still annoying but definitely better than it was.

Only time I find myself annoyed with arty is when they are the three following: LeFH, Bishop and FV304. Cause cover that works for others, is perfectly useless for these three.

^ this, the chance of getting medals for killing 2+ enemy arta in no way compensates the frustration of getting bombed/stunned by that guy hiding behind a rock/house on the other side of the map. :angry:

But the option of ticking none of the boxes does not indicate arty is fine, unless we are to conclude that all 7.5 billion people in the world (other than the 38 who voted) feel arty is fine......
