Dear tankers

I'm wondering which premium tank/tankdestroyer is worth the price to buy it (not type 59 and type 62 discontinued).

Probably the prem LT's.

Defender, Skorpiong G, and i guess Lorrain 40 T, maybe Patriot and Liberte if you like that style.

Tier 5 the kv 220 and lefheehe.

You pay for a virtual tank.

Defender used to be good, but then people discovered TVP VTU.

lol.

Well.. depends on how much you want to pay out. Tier 8 you could argue that the Lowe is rather good after the recent buffs if you like HT's. French M4 Rev is a new fan fav after his buffs if you like support mediums. And they say the Swedish S1 is a superb credit earner if you want to spend that much, and like TD's. Panther M10 on tier 7 is superb after his buffs to. And is cheap to run, so profits can be high even on that.

Whatever tank you can manage to play enough to do what you want with it; the idea being that it's arguably worth paying for something that's fun to play and provides a way to have more fun with the rest of the game (though binos could arguably work allright on a Maus).

As for the 'paying for pixels' argument, I like comparing it to food. Paying for pixels, paying for something that turns into crap... at least I can enjoy the pixels way more.

Depends what your main reason for it is.
If crew training: Get the premium that matches your favourite regular tank (tree). The tier 6 ones train your crew well but won't give you much credit boost.
If cash grind, the Revalorise and S1 are good. Easy to do damage = credits
If for fun: The Defender, Skorp G, Patriot are all very good

Also depends how good you are. Defender, IS6 and Lowe are probably the most forgiving tonks out there

Buy PUBG, a complete game (not one pixel tank) for 25/30 euro. Much more fun!!!

Already eight million copies sold and most played game on Steam!

That MM works fine, there is no artillery and they listen to their players!!!

Depends on what you want, but most importantly, get something you think you'll enjoy playing.

I you just want a good time and a little credits on the side I'd recommend the Type 64, it's really strong since the MM changes for light tanks and a ton of fun. Especially during a sale it's a reasonable price (imho). It doesn't make a massive amount of credits though, you'd probably be better off with a tier 8 med for that.

From that list, the Lowe. The Defender is not on sale and won't be until Christmas and the IS-6 is terribad with the current matchmaking and that awful gun.

Interesting game, but most importantly: does it have IJA tanks like the Chi-Nu, Chi-Ri, O-I and Type 2604 Heavy?

As for premiums; their worth correlated to how much you enjoy playing them.

Which means that most tier 8 mediums will be lower on the list.

Same goes for tanks that are just rubbish, like the premium tier 6 tigers.

Nah, the IS6 is still perfectly fine mate. It's just not as good as it used to be. You need to pick your battles a bit more carefully instead of just press W.

Depends what you want to buy them for. If you need them as crew trainers, I'd say any of the Berlin tanks would do, but I'm afraid the sale has just ended.

If you are looking at credit makers, I don't know. Credit income has been nerfed for premium tanks. Nowadays, when you take a tier 8 premium into battle and drive it into the pond after 30 seconds so to speak, it nets you around 20k credits (with a premium account). Shoot 4-5k damage and it will net you around 120k.

My current clan doesn't do strongholds anymore, but in a good stronghold 10 clan, playing 2 hours of skirmishes can net you between 1 and 2 million credits driving a Cromwell B or Type 64, when the credit bonus is on. I don't know if this still is the case. So my vote would be the Type 64 as best value for money for a vehicle still on sale :)

My thoughts on this are waning to be honest. Ignoring the fact that some might boost your WR I'm not convinced that these are the best way to move forward in game anymore.

They give you better crew training, more credits and some Free Xp. BUT they dont really help you advance up the tech tree (unless you use the free xp)

In some ways its better to go Premium account and load up some personal reserves. That way you can get the training, credits, Free XP and tech tree XP.

The counter to this will be credit earning which is tough at high tiers for Joe Average and me.
