Good job WG, you can’t even show a historically accurate map of Europe at the time of Operation Barbarossa… No wonder the historical accuracy in the game is messed up…

Hi,

The map is merely a contemporary visual representation that our editor had had used and thought would be understandable for everyone.

Unfortunately the fact that we have missed to notice that the border representation may come of as conflicting is something where an error has occured on our side, and we should have noticed this earlier. The use of a modern map was an overshight and we will correct this.

We can share a detailed Barbarossa map outline if that would make you happy :)

Wouldn't it had been more understandable to show a map with the actual national borders of that time? Talking about Operation Barbarossa and then showing that map creates a great confusion because you make it look like Germany attacked Poland+Belarus/Ukraine and not Soviet. Not to mention that Czechoslovakia were occupied by Germany (with Slovakia as a puppet).

No need to, Wikipedia has already done it for you:

Better use that time to sort out the problems in the game :)

I wish you guys would implement all these engine sounds you record into the game...

Every tank sounding the same is kind of tiresome.

Alright. Noted.

We will move Jaime the video editor from making maps into the matchmaking engineering department.

We're confident he will do well.

Considering what maps and other problems we currently have in the game, I'm quite sure that Jaime the video editor will do just fine :great:

If three's one thing you should pick up from this video, it's that you need new music in the actual game. I turned it off a LONG time ago. Why not include this soundtrack and few other and just add them in? It can't hurt, even id they're bad. Just grow some balls and experiment

Love the dog!

Please move everyone from every department into the map making department:)

I don't care about any more tweaks to the game .... WoT is awesome, just add some new maps or reintroduce the old ones. Thankyou!

I may have spent a ''few'' minutes looking for an appropriate dog meme.

As for the maps, we do have some interesting stuff in the plans/works :)

I found the persistant music to be a real distraction and irritation.

It seems to me that someone found the actual information boring and so tarted it up with some music, unfortunatety I found the music to be so annoying that I stopped watching the video because of it.

Why the hell, we cannot have historical battles ? Well, we have some historical maps: Kharkow, Stalingrad, Normandy.... But battles,....no no... Why not ?

Tigers and Panthers and other historical tanks, just do not have a single chance to play battles like in history.

Anyway, nice video from WG but this is all.

^ There's an idea.  Instead of the Grand Battle thingy, we could have the battle of the Kursk Salient with about 2,500 tanks on either side.  Now that's what I would call "Grand".

Please don't show tiger 1(I) when talking about the panther in that scene. Same thing different animal for the t-34, not sure which tank that was but it wasn't always a t-34

You were wrong. The most understandable visualisations are actual, not disingenous.

I hope you will remove this falsehood and prepare something in reparation like brief history of World War II(there were many WG events at the end of WWII, none for start), maybe a word about breaking Treaty of Versailles by Germany by manufacturing  heavy weapons like tanks, military aircrafts, and ships.
