I don't care if it's realistic or not, it's [edited]annoying.

I propose you make it impossible to flip by your own device, so you won't flip over when you make that sharp turn or crash into an object which could lead to you flipping over.

Flipping over should only be possible when it happens concurrently with your tank coming into physical contact with another tank, meaning allies and enemies can still flip you over. The flipping physics can be activated when that happens.

You won't be able to do barrel rolls anymore and type "Lulz Xd I flipsed 3 times LULZ now im not FLIPZED lulzzzzzzzzzzz xD Xd" in chat, but I think it's worth the price.

Would make more sense to make certain tanks have a bit more preference to 'tank mode' rather than 'ekranoplan'.

Swedish TDs and e.g. RHM-Panzerwagen are known to have some ...identity problems in this regard.

Or maybe people could just learn to drive.

However, WG should finally the physics, so that you can't drive up vertical surfaces anymore...

I doubt that will make much of a difference. Since I suspect 29 of 30 tanks will still go the 9 line still. And not have time to roll down the hills.

Tho they did fix it when they did tone down your ability to roll after jumps etc in lights. All they have to do is make the counter weight when you are at an angle bigger. So you will fall down flat again easier. As that's not gonna be effective if there is a 50 ton tank pushing you over, vs a bump on the road. Tho that said. I've only rolled once on my own accord after they fixed it... in my T-50 after the LT changes.

Pff. I see 'failed rasha tonk' on youtube often. -Yes, tanks can tip over, drown, get stuck, blown up, used as a pogo-stick, pushing people away with the barrel and so forth. -I didn't catch the question?

Then send the petition to God.

Because tanks turn over in real life too.

;)

When I've flipped a tank I've always thought it was my fault and taken it on the chin, I mean, driving your tank should be a skill shouldn't it, players shouldn't be let off for being inattentive?

So you think tanks have HP bars in real life too?

I have flipped a total of 3 times since this became a possibility. Twice I thought it hilarious.  The other I got a kill while stuck on my side.  It's a mechanic that makes you think a little.  Not a bad thing if you ask me.

Players who are so bad at the game that they can't learn to drive are probably less harmful to their team flipped over in a river than actually driving around.
