The mission / event screens, I've never really got used to them since they changed. I find myself looking around for what the requirements are, ok theres a button you can press to see which tanks you have that are selectable. It just feels to me like someone has over engineered this. I genuinely think I preferred a box with the reward and requirement in.

Maybe I'm missing something....

They are not a bit annoying, missions interface is complete garbage.

Has it been 5 days already when we had 2 different topics about this? Time sure flies.

They're so bad that I don't even look at them anymore. At least sometimes I get surprised with some goodies. Like HT No.VI

They old version where you could read what you had to do and just select a tank (if you had it in garage) was far superior.

The mission screen is close to useless.

Everybody has been hating it ever since it was introduced.

But since WG now listens to us, it stays.

I mean, they probably paid some guy a ton of money to fix something that was simple and functional so it could become useless and gigantic, and are too proud to just step back.

The misery off those screens, as big as it is, feels a little bit mitigated for me when I can share it with you guys.

Agreed - it's badly thought through & poorly implemented.

I find it quite confusing.

In some of them, the requirements aren't even clear, like in one of the missions for the T-34-85M where you needed to deal 1k damage in a single battle, but, instead, the mission in-game only stated the need to deal 1k damage. Since in other days the damage, kills, modules destroyed, xp, etc., was all spread over several battles, many people were confused why the counter wasn't adding up. Yes, there was a bloody counter even though you either did it all at once or not at all.

op you are preaching to the converted.  we've all raised this very issue on here and it gets roundly ignored by the mods everyone.   it's truly dogs hit yet they WG avoid every topic that mentions it. rest assured they will change frick and hope we go away.

I raised a ticket after my recent, similar,  topic got so many likes and the CS answer was that they could not do anything about it. and posting it on here was the best option for our issue to be addressed.  hahaha haha

I am by no means a thorough reader of this forum and tbh wasnt even aware the issue had been brought up before. Its interesting to hear that the mission screens are so universally disliked, i half thought people were going to call me an idiot for not being able to use them right.

IIRC they claimed to have changed the mission screens as a result of user demand, i sure as hell don't remember anyone complaining about the way they were before.

That's how can they claim they're listening to the community.

+1!

Before it looked c**p but was atleast easy to "understand", you saw on the first look whats going on, which missions and specials take place. But know. Its really messed up, wierd and much to scroll. I think the "experts" dev of the balancing team desigend this.

Yup theyre useless, why on earth they wasted time "fixing" something that was fine to begin with only after all that time and effort to replace it with something substandard when theres a list of other things they are planning to improve is beyond me

It takes more clicks to get the same info, text is barely readable in places due to the colour scheme and you cant see how many completions to have left on x5s until you have done the first win nor see the end date without an extra and wholly unnecessary click as ALL of the info could be displayed in the initial view like it was before

When I first saw the "improvements" I wondered if the real aim was to make something that worked fine even more substandard than other things so the other things would "seem" better by comparison lol

While I generally like WoT very much, but I'll have to agree on this one.

The interface design on the missions tab, is very confusing and goes directly *against* good usability practices in several places.

WG should really have a UX designer look at that thing.
