Hi guys,

I see these new Chinese TD options and was comparing their stats to some TD's I'm familiar with to try and get a quick insight into how they might perform but there's no substitution to feedback from players who have actually used them. They are most and unsurprisingly Soviet sourced TD's with their own modifications but I ask those who have tried them how do you find them so far and should I even bother? Are they in some way better than the Soviet options or other TD's of their tier? Which tiers would you feel are the really good ones actually worth a try and keeping?

Thanks in advance. I play or used to play a lot of TD's but have started drifting away from them as having no turret in the current gameplay with racy light tanks and so many city maps just was not fun or competitive.. the ol no turret setup was just too situation and campy so I'm very reluctant to bother with this new TD line unless a few are really good? I'll play anything from tier3-10 so if you feel there is actually a really good one in there or more pls let me know.

I am going to try them because that is what I do. The first couple are always easy enough- lousy crew, a bit of Free XP- but then I will be looking for half-price offers.

So far I have won one, lost one in the tier II. I upgraded it with Free XP and then finished the grind with Free XP before I had to endure Mittengard again in a vehicle which relies on stealth and spotting, so it is 50% for eternity.

Then the M3G FT. Quite mobile out of the box with stock suspension and tracks and the (usually good) 57mm gun. Won one from eight or nine battles with mostly massacres. Brought it back to five wins from fifteen before calling it a night yesterday. I am not sure whether this has a chance to be a keeper. I should enjoy its mobility, stealth and firepower, but I won't if it keeps attracting teams of utter tools.

After this. I will have to let you know. I might keep the tier III for crew training for now, even if it never ends up being a long-term "Keeper".

Just on paper the tier 10 looks like a more comfortable 268, but not played any of them yet, so don't know for sure.

Well I know T2 & 3 are appalling pieces of crap.  Haven't managed to grind any higher....

After the Foch grind, i don't want to play turretless  TD's for a while.

I played the tier 10 on test and is kinda meh, something like T110E3 and Obj.268 had a child together.

The tier 5 could stop you from grinding any further, this tank... is just... awful.

SirFoch ground through the T8 in a recent 30-hour livestream, in case you're interested in gameplay and opinions.

Don't really think too much of fixed turret TDs so that's a point against right off.

Only played the tier V and VI so far but both are very good at melting targets.

Tier 3 was okay, Tier 4 is amazing, Tier 5 made me commit suicide multiple times, Tier 6 is quite fun, although I'm really struggling to do well in it

Tier 4 and 5 were actually good fun. Tier 6 was... underwhelming on all areas vs those two so far.

The SU76G FT is a monster at tier IV, the one everybody seems to rave about, the tier VI WZ131G FT, is too situational for long term fun and it's tier V armour isn't on a par with an SU100, and the Premium WZ120-1G FT seems to be OP in its tier so long as you keep away from the super heavies.

Tier 3 - dank

Tier 4 - meh

Tier 5 - ugly meh

Tier 6 <SU-100

Tier 7 ~=122-44 because better pen and wievrange

Tier 8 ~ =ISU because gun feels lovely and tank got some armor

Tier 8 prem >>>>>>>>>>SU-101 because its a beast when top tier and works well when bottom tier in dispatching higher tier mediums

Tier 9 >>>>ob704 because your gun is a real deal tier X td gun and  you have real armor , more hp, wievrange and better gun arc.

Tier X - still grinding. Tier 4 tier , tier 9 feels better.

Chinese TD's seems to have this thing, in where they are a lot more mobile then what you'd expect for their sizes.

s-tanks suck they are situational and dont work on half of the maps.

wz-120g ft can do stuff where s1 will fail.
