Just why, cant see any logic. I bet 50% credit booster will be marketing bullseye. Just put them in store... think about ppl who cant play much and they still need mountains of credits.

That's it, that's your suggestion, to fix the crappy credit situation by letting them sell us even more crap? Way to go genius, keep the ideas coming in, you might even get a bonus from them.

You can earn 15 there. Much cheaper than an hypothetical option in the premium shop.

If you need credits then just buy Fort Knox like any sane person.

There is apparently no logic at WG HQ. They sell those at US server, but not at EU server. I would like to buy those boosters too.

Playing with tier 8 premium tanks feels like forced labour, so anything that might help us with that is very welcome change.

Or maybe just maybe it has something to do with the fact that they already have a product called Premium Account that offers +50% credits and is time limited so it's also likely to keep the player playing the game during the time it is active. They obviously don't want to offer a similar product in form of Reserves that you can activate when ever you feel like it and would have to be cheaper than buying premium time.

Lets say you have a busy week and can only play 2h max after work each day and have plans for the weekend. It would be far more sensible for you to buy +50% credits for 2h &  +50% experience for 2h Reserves if they were available than spend 6.02€ for 7 days of Premium time. Now what is perfectly sensible you isn't the best thing for them when they want to make money and keep the player feeling like he has to play more or the Premium time will go to waste.

The mission for credit boosters is probably a 'field test' of some sorts. It'll probably make people play even more T8 anyway, and buy more high-tier tanks to fool around with and lose credits with. T10 is like high heavens MM-wise. Game kind of depends on having T8s to feed T10 players. Feed the addiction.

Anyway, it's probably a way to lower the 'bar' for spending a bit. EU is probably past that, it's more beneficial to introduce a new T8 prem. As long as they continue to sell well, you likely won't see the boosters. Besides, I am not that sad that we won't get to buy them. You kind of want the totally useless T10 players* to resort to buying a 'Jackpot' pack instead of botting their way through T8 premium TDs...

*We're talking people who brings out the worst in 3-5-7 by playing like bots, doing incredibly dumb stuff like scouting the field in a Maus, or even scouting for their TD platoonmate. I'm pretty f-ing happy that platoons don't get to be top-tier that often, frankly. Nothing is worse than getting two out of three useless top tiers. Nothing.

I don't hate this idea.  If you think about it, THIS is exactly what people have been asking for when they have said they want a way of 'activating' premium time (rather than have a whole 24 hours used up for a 2 hour session).  By having credit boosters you could activate the 'premium time' (ok, XP isn't involved here but you would just activate THOSE boosters as well) when you wanted and not waste any hours.

I'm sure WG have thought of this and ruled it out as people would stop buying premium time and just buy credit/XP boosters and use them more sparingly.

I still don't get it.

If you want to pay for credits then just buy gold and convert it to credits.  I'm sure that way you will get more for your money than buying 50% credit boosters.

eu server is healthy, have you ever played  on NA during it's peak it's like 15k at best.  during off-peak hours less then 1k players

Maybe because we have Premium tanks for that?

I'd argue about WG doing less selling and more fixing/balancing. Real balancing, not the Obj 140 and T-54 crap.

Throwing money at them won't change anything fast. They get paid for keeping alive a poorly balanced game instead of fixing it and potentially gaining more people.
Just look at how things go: everyone complains about LTs, Maus, Type 4/5 and then they add a laughable weakspot for the Japanese, nerf the Maus dpm and floor armor (lol) and add some buffs to the 140 and T-54 family (that nobody asked for). Add 3-4 premium tanks and a tier 10 gamemode (as a random chance one while we're at it) that craps even more on tier 8 which a lot of people bought with real money just because a lot of tier 10 tanks are in the queue.

I guess you could work it out.  How many credits could you earn with a standard account and a T8 premium tank with credit booster on for two hours.  Would this 50% extra credits earned be more or less than the amount you could purchase for the same cost as 1 credit booster?

I did, you'd need to get 34400 extra credits out of each hour.  Easy enough but you still have to play whereas buying the gold and converting it is instant.

You make out that playing the game is some sort of penalty in this equation (I guess some days it DOES feel that way).  Without knowing what the cost per booster would be I doubt we will be able to work out if it would be better to buy credits (or gold and convert) or to buy the boosters.  I do like the idea though, as I could plan a credit grinding session in a tank I enjoy grinding in and then activate the booster accordingly.  I'm fairly confident that WG would never implement this though due to concerns about premium time not being purchased as much.
