Greetings!

What other MMO (multiplayer) and Single Player games do you guys play?

As Single Player I am playing StarCraft 1 from time to time, Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005, Serious Sam (first and second encounter) and I am currently waiting for the expansion for the Grim Dawn RTS game.

As MMO I have been looking for some games, but couldn't find anything interesting. I am looking for other games than WoT, I want to quit this game and go for another MMO.

I'm speedrunning the game Mirror's Edge (a short parkour game) which is all about going fast. 9 years after release and it's still not fully optimized, and incredibly difficult (tons of oneframe tricks) meaning it's a nice change of pace from WoT aka the slowest shooter ever. I wouldn't say I'm as good at it as I am WoT even though I have 400hours invested into it..

On a completely different side of gaming I've played through all the Final Fantasy games from 4 to 15 and all the expansions in between released for anything but handheld machines. Probably spent more time on these RPGs than WoT I reckon. Final Fantasy X alone is 600 hours, XII 120 and 6-8 probably add up to around 800 there as well. I finished all games at 100% completion except for XIII-2 because it was garbage.

Kingdom Hearts, Xenoblade, Chrono Trigger are all favourites as well.

In terms of MMOs I don't really play them outside of this game. Relying on anyone but myself is incredibly frustrating, and hence why I too play this game less and less.

For a good timesink I recommend Black Desert, haven't played it a whole lot yet but it's pretty fun.

Other than tanks, I play a rhythm game called osu! which is all about clicking circles to the beat. Sounds much easier than it really is.

Stellaris is awesome, but I find it unbeatable on higher than normal difficulty and too easy on normal.

Damn right, it is.

I'm playing PAYDAY2 more like DLCDAY2, Test Drive Unlimited, MGSV, Skyrim and even some not-so-popular games like Hidden & Dangerous 2.

Besides Ships and Tanks I played WoW on a vanilla server but stopped cause got bored after our Guild reached Naxx.

Other games would be:
Crusader Kings 2

Cossacks 3

The Witcher 2 (in progress)

Don't Starve Together
Jagged Alliance 2 (1.13 patch)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series

My backlog however is so huge I'm not sure if I'll manage to even finish half the games by the end of the year...for example I have the Witcher 3 since late 2015 and didn't even have the time to install it yet :(

I play 0 A.D. it's single or multiplayer but not really an MMO, it's an open-source (free) historical Real Time Strategy game, it's been in development for 17 yrs so quite solid now it's on Alpha 21. Multiplayer games are organised through the ingame chat or the forum (both are very friendly and quite pleasant which make a nice change from WoT) or play against an AI bot (which is a bit too good on medium/hard settings) If you liked AoE you'll like it.

Thanks guys for the replies. I checked out the games you mentioned on YouTube, and I'm gonna get them and try them myself.

I need a game that can keep me occupied so I can quit WoT for good. It's difficult for me to quit WoT cause of CW and because I want to help my clan in CW (and every clan that I was in). Though I can't play Randoms any more, I simply can't. (I need to get a life)

 Skyrim

I used to play Skyrim a long time ago when it was released. I remember having problems with the audio, the sound was too quiet, even though I had the PC volume and game volume at maximum. Have they fixed that? Also, what mods do you use in Skyrim? I might get back to that game.

I haven't played anything but WoT since I installed it in 2011...

My wife thinks even this is too much gaming:(

You'd like 7,62 High Calibre then. With Black Sun Mod and Mercapocalipse 1.4, of course.

Tried the solution listed here, works for me.

As for the mods...

Spoiler

Have been playing Mount and Blade: Warband a lot then splitting off onto games like Stellaris, Planetside 2 and the Total War games with members of a regiment.

Mount & Blade is love. Can't wait for Bannerlord.

Elder Scrolls Online, basically MMO for single player. 90% of the game content (questing, map exploring) are easily done when playing solo in truly Elder Scrolls fashion - play the way you want to play. Small group content (dungeons and world bosses) are optional. If you liked Skyrim questing you might get along with ESO, though it gives way for some MMO mechanics ("autoaim" bow/staff, fantasy weapon skills, ultimates) . PvP occurs only in Duels and in Cyrodill, both you have to enter willingly, outside of that the worst other players can annoy you is playing lute, yelling, dancing and other animations/emotes, making them rather harmless.

Base game is worth dozens, if not hundreds hours worth of gameplay, DLCs adds another dozens and with exception of Morrowind are all available with "premium" subscription. Which alone is worth for crafting bag, if you fancy gathering items and crafting stuff

ESO is everything that I hate in online gaming:

1. Premium subrscribtions

2. autoaim

3. Overpriced DLCs

1 and 3 aren't mandatory, with autoaim you unfortunately have to live with.

Certainly better than ESO back in the day - you pay full AAA price for the game, THEN you pay for subscription to even play the game and on top of that you had premium store for aesthetics

When the companies do it that way, it usually shifts to paying users being overpowered as hell and the non-paying having to grind for hours to get 2% of the paying user's items/stuff whatever.
