WG headquarters:

*Russian accent*

Comrade,

the mountain goating got fixed! Igor worked on it for a hour and he is finally done. Here he goes! Igor! Take a shot a vodka for a job well done! Da!

Spoiler

Seriously now, it has been less than a week after the 9.20 release and I already met a whole bunch of these. Do your patches properly and don't waste time collecting data for half a year to fix something that is clearly broken please.

Did you really expect them to fix it in one go? That's quite naive...

More like I expected them to fix the obvious ones in one go and these are and they are still in the game. Like the Redshire is the most obvious of all of them and it is still in the game but I guess I have too high of expectations

Block Quote

Introduced terrain-related changes for hard-to-reach areas in the following maps:

  1. Karelia
  2. Steppes
  3. Lakeville
  4. Abbey
  5. Mines
  6. Sacred Valley
  7. Mountain Pass
  8. El Halluf
  9. Arctic Region

Do you read anything about fixing everything?

Also, good job posting an image from Windstorm, it really makes an excellent point...

You also expected Redshire? Amazing. What else? Cliff too?

Good job on posting patch notes! Now explain to be how is it relevant in any way to the point I was making? That it is not listed there? That is the whole point! Very few people care if you climb on Lakeville but if you climb on Redshire at that dumb A9 spot you can shoot half the map and stop entire push with little to no risk to yourself but that is clearly ok but clearly insignificant spots on Lakeville, that has to go as first.

Spots that cover large portions of the map, especially those that are hard to deal with should take priority regardless of map. But like I said, I guess I have too high of an expectations.

It is relevent as you were claiming Wargaming had fixed all the climb issues they knew about.  You are just a whiner with no patience.

Let's do this in small concise sentences, so you don't lose focus.

1. your OP claim was that mountain goating wasn't fixed.

2. in the patch notes, they say they introduced "terrain-related changes for hard-to-reach areas" of some maps.

3. introducing "terrain-related changes for hard-to-reach areas" in a map doesn't mean fixing all of the problems.

4. they release a list of the maps they had worked on.

5. you complain that they did nothing on 2 maps they didn't even mention.

See where this is going?

You do realise this is being discussed in the 9.20 FAQ thread?

You could drop your casual xenophobia there.

Maybe they get tired after a spot of mtn goating/alpine dogging

+stop for a refeshing cup of tea, or tea bagging?

Dear Ferditude,

I agree, it must be very thirsty work two bagging a goats head, to do some alpine dogging.

Cheers

Tommy.

I mean, there is a guy making YouTube videos showing them all the climbs so you'd have thought they could have fixed them.

Didn't you read? They're collecting data...

If they were really interested in fixing any of it, they could just hire Xen to show them if it's working.

I guess the two have different appeals to people,

Some just spot +some, being able to shoot the occasional load.

How hard is it for WG to build an invisible blockade all over the supposed impassable areas on the maps? Like, come on! It's not rocket science! It's simple and effective.
