Try and name a single tier six or eight fighting clan that ever won anything in Stronghold Mode?

None? Only clans that did tier 10 advancing mode ever won anything? Wonder why lol

My (sarcastic) point was this was a great idea to get lower tiers to be competitive sunk by a multiplier for certain battles types. A win should have been a win = points = without multipliers for levels or the advance to may lower tiers have zero chances of any prizes.

No. Tier X is the end-game content and should be valued more. Besides, tier 6 is mostly run-and-gun, only 7 tanks for the field commander to manage (compared to 15 in tier X). Why would you get the same reward for less effort? Grind tier X tanks, get 15 people together, train, practice tactics and win some advances.
More effort = better reward.

Back to topic - what's the purpose of this article? Did anyone find anything new in there? As I see it, everything in the article has been happening for the past month or more... or I missed something?

They are simply officializing what has been happening the last month. Before, you had to wait for the Friday to be sure there would be Wargames on the Saturday, as they were saying it was still in testing. Now you know it will be happening every Saturday for sure.
