So I am a tomato but my last week win rate is about 60℅ and yesterday I even won 70% of my games. Consider the fact that I am even teaching my fioncee play so she has about 10 loses or more on tier 2-3 vehicles on my account.

What did change so much in my performance? It is true I play mostly Cromwell and lttb so I see lower tier games but I doubt I got so much better to make such a big difference with these poor vehicles.

Any advice's on how I can keep up with this? I am having a blast and enjoying it big time.

RNG

Sometimes it gives you hell, sometimes it gives you wings. Now you got the wings.

But on serious note; it could be that by chance, you did various things right (retreated/pusdhed on time? Changed flanks on a good time?), translating in a series of good games. Also playing tanks you're familiar with can also help alot in winning more games.

Your performance did not change so drastically, in fact you are playing slightly better but not good enough to justify a 60-70% winrate.

You just had luck, WG and RNGesus decided that is your time to shine.

To maintain this luck i recommend buying a ''Fort Knox'' package every month: https://eu.wargaming.../specials/1176/

Yes that's luck. But in general he seems to be improving as well, keep at it.

RNG does give you some days like that as well as the times it makes you miss every shot.  Just enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Maybe it has something to do with you trying to teach someone.  If you are explaining your actions then maybe you are thinking about them more whilst you do them and that higher level of concentration is reflected in better results.

pretty much this - and Cromwell is a great tank, superior mobility combined with a fast firing and fairly accurate gun.

OP did significantly more damage according to the stats screenshot than the week(s) before.

As some like to say about losing streaks: the only constant is you so it must be because you play better.

No, because people don't generally say that about streaks of results, but they do say it about long term results.

I honestly disagree about Cromwell. It used to be a very good tank, but right now there are way too many well armored t6 premiums and fighting with them is a pain. Also the bloom and accuracy on the move seems nerfed. In order to keep up with a lot of tanks I try to constantly put them in a bad position to trade in snaps so they miss and I hit. So ind the end it is a constant movement and position change to deal damage while not getting damage. It is much harder to play Cromwell now than it was before.

Anyway thanks all for the reviews. Ah so not to be much exited about getting a pro status :D

For a couple of days my WR jumped to 53 % or thereabouts. Then it rapidly sank to a more fitting 43 %....:hiding:

You've had a good run of games that may or may not reflect your actual skill in the game. It always happens, runs of good or bad games, but over a hundred battles the odds even out so those games you have carried swing the win rate one way or another. So while I wouldn't get excited, if you can identify something you've done to help you win more games pay attention to that. But if you've done nothing in particular it could just be an RNG spike.

You mentioned you played Cromwell and LTTB mostly which can both be played a fast scouts so maybe you have learned the maps how to best race around and peak of hills and be really decent at scouting maybe? This wouldn't be reflected in WN8 since dmg assist does not count but maybe you are getting better at showing enemy tanks? kill rate, kill ratio, survival % are all horrendous so I can only guess that dmg assist and good scouting is what is leading to this. There are runs of wins for sure but 72% from 47 battles is probably beyond luck and the 58.6% from 279 just backs that up.

Try to set a marker for each battle. Kill at least 1 tank, do at least your own hp in damage or damage assist as a minimum and build on that. At least that way if you die you have at least done your own tanks worth of damage and kills so were not negatively affecting the team.. anything more after that is increasing your winning chances more and more with every successful shot landed.

It's a luck based game, you can put some more and get a little bit more won games, but basically all you need it's luck.

Yes, the 'little bit more' you put in is what's called 'gud'. When you 'git' some you win more.
