Should Wargaming create the "First Blood Medal" awarded to the player who makes the first kill of the game?

Or a "First Blood" Honorary Ranks Achievement (that seems better)...

It would be a nice way to remember Second Lieutenant Frank Mitchell, who engaged in combat with Second Lieutenant Wilhelm Biltz for the first time ever between two tanks, during World War I.
Frank Mitchell was the commander of a pack of three english Mk IV tanks wich incidentally met three german A7V on the grounds of Villers-Bretonneux, France.
Second Lieutenant Mitchell was able to knock out the german commander tank, in what is said to be the first battle between two tanks.

No.

Idiots would either start holding their shots in order to get the first kill - or either yolo like a *edited*.

So a yolo medal then? Well only if the condition was "get the first kill, win and survive".. just like the scout medal is only given if you win. So a failed yolo rush on a loss is not "rewarded" if you will.

Second Lieutenant Mitchell was able to knock out the German commander tank, but 80% of the player base that WOT currently has, isn't able to knock out a candle..
I voted No, mainly because i do not approve any YOLO attempts made by our lovely player base

The player who makes the first kill must survive the battle, obviously. Like Lt Mitchell...

Does he also need to have 95% hitrate, 85% WR and three marks of excellence, Like Lt Mitchell?

WG should create First to Die medal and if you earn it 1,000 times your account is suspended.

No. You misunderstand medals. They arent given just for participating. They are given for good performance. Just because you killed 1 enemy out of 15 means nothing at all.

Yeah, a YOLO medal would for sure improve the quality of teamplay or gameplay experience in general.

We already have lots of braindead people/kids in this game, no need to encourage them to play even more careless.

This will bring just stupid situations in which 4-5 morons will push, block and fight each other - just to be the one who kills the first enemy.

Yes, I agree with most of you. Medals are given for good performance.

But under some unique circunstances, I think it would be a nice reward to have, allied to the historical combat to be remembered (after all, maybe we are playing WoT because of that) :).

First kill made by one player only, survive and win the battle, would be conditions to win the medal, plus recreate the history.

Plain first kill with no conditions (or just survive the battle) would also be an option for Honorary Ranks Achievement, though it might be a little YOLO, I agree.

But has the advantage of making those campers be tempted to move their as**s.

Campers? What campers?

The average WOT battle takes now 4 minutes....

And all maps have just 2-3 choke-points, and the rest of the map is a 'no-go' zone. Sure that people go to these choke-points and then just stop, because the enemy is there also. Tell me how many maps make flanking a viable option?

What about something to motivate the headless yolo noobs to actually stay alive and do some damage or spot something WHEN your allies can shoot it? Oh, we have already 'high caliber', 'confederate' and other medals like these, but people don't care about them.

Maybe because medals don't give you nothing but just a pixel trinket in your stats screen?  :sceptic:

In view of the recent Civil War monument removals in the USA I think WG should remove the Confederate Medal, just to be on the safe side.
