In the past week I was at least  once a day killed by a team member without any provocation or reason. Most recent example is from this morning, when I decided to play a game before I go to work and not only was I killed by a team member for no reason, but we had another 2 team kills that followed.

Is this thing becomming a trend now?

P.S. Don't mind my poor gameplay.

To be fair, one of the team kills was to avenge your death

Yeah, pretty much. Seems to be a dickhead in about 1 in 4 games at the moment.

Well I see it more likely that he killed him just to make sure he doesn't do something stupid like that to him. But yeah, I guess you could see it that way as well. But still another unprovoked team kill happened at the very end.

Yes, obviously these few occurrences mark a trend and are so worthy of creating a thread for...

Unprovoked...
I think we can say that this is often NOT the case - just see the last two threads.

It would be for creating useless, pointless, nonconstructive threads, and that in the wrong sub-section as well. But hey, let's just pretend you didn't actually do that and the deletion was completely undeserved... right?

In my 19k+ battles i never was team killed deliberately. I was shot at, pushed out of cover and such but never got killed, only by accident.

It's the people that shoot you once a game is won, for the "lols" that annoy me.

Some battles I take more dmg from f*tard teammates than enemies. The cancer level in wot has risen a lot recently.

The amount of this and things like pushing team mates out of cover is way more than I saw in 30k games on xbox.

Most of the times I have been shot by team mates though its been semi accidental, someone trying to sneak a shot between be going back and forth to shoot round a corner for example, arty splash or someone trying to shoot over me at a tank but I was in their reticule and the shot went to the extremity

I think I have been blue twice, but have never been "executed" even whilst blue by my teams and I have only killed team mates myself in return for them shooting me first which has no more than half a dozen times resulted in them dying when they continued the exchange

So I don't think its of epidemic proportions but it does happen far more than it should

While it's allowed  to shoot a teammate twice with a 750 dmg gun and not even become blue, this will happen.

I'd suggest if this is happening to you daily then you're incredibly unlucky.  I've only recently started playing again after a break & in just over 400 battles it's happened to me once.

As in your case, there was no justification for it (I came top on xp & 2nd on dmg) & it was at the end of the battle.  To make things even worse, from my point of view, I then met the same player a couple of games later but this time on the opposing team.  I didn't notice it was him until he completely rekt me again :(  At least it was justified the 2nd time.

I noticed an increase in team-damage and team kill incidents (not only related to me).

People seem to understand how TK auto ban system works, and are able to cripple you in-game without getting banned, especially if you play LT or MT.

So, I decided to write to WG about this, to get some feedback.

From their response I deduced that they do not care, so I stopped writing to them about it.

My ticket

Dear support,

In the last 2 months the number of occurrences of team damage and team kills on purpose on me has increased significantly.
It seems that in-game automated system is not sanctioning this properly. Moreover, players know how to make team damage while avoiding being auto-banned by the system.
This is why I will be forwarding to you each occurrence where a team player damaged me significantly or killed me clearly on purpose, thus ruining my game, so they could be properly sanctioned.

Please find attached a replay of one recent team kills on me. The team kill happened at the very end of the game. The perpetrator's nick is EDITED.

Best regards,

WG response

 Dear m1x_angelico,

Thank you for contacting the Wargaming Support.

No matter if on purpose or not - damaging team members is forbidden and leads to sanctions (depending on the TK rating). The TK rating takes into account all team damage done since the last sanction of this type and determines the severity of the new sanction based on that. There is no need for redundant reports via tickets. And yes, the system works.

If you have any other questions or requests do not hesitate to contact us again. Otherwise: Good luck on the battlefield!

Kind regards,

Not playing the way the TK:er wants doesn't count as provocation:
