WG pls rebalance heavies by bringing pre-8.6 artillery back to the game

The current dominance of superheavies is not fun anymore and there is one easy thing you can do to improve the game for all players and bring heavy tanks back in line. Simply reintroduce a class that is good at countering the steel chunks. Pre-8.6 artillery simply reduced the number of superheavies as they could not roll around the maps with impunity and scouts could wreck them in combination with high angle fire. 

On top of that a constant change in meta keeps the game in a more dynamic state.

Superheavy tanks are too OP now? Maybe we should just nerf/rebalance them?

Nah, we better make another class OP.

Let's make arty OP, because only they deserve the ability to 'fight' superheavy tanks...

Super Heavies need viable weakspots frontally for same tier standard AP ammo on a low pen roll when not played correctly (andgled/sidescraping/hull-down).

 

Arty can stay as it is now, out of the way and no longer doing massive damage.

Come on arta was fine that way for three years and WG defended it for so long. How could they have ever been wrong. And to be fair it kept the number of superheavies in check.

People have such short memories.  Remember all the whining on the forums about how broken arty was?  I do.  What is more, I expect it is the self-same people complaining now.

I must be blind because 90% of the games i see won, is won by LT's and MT's. On some occasions by HT's and TD's, and SPG's at the bottom.

 

I admit i don't have a tier x tank so not very sure how that goes, in the same tier MM, but my experience in general that fast tanks that can hold/ spot/ damage enemy tanks early on wins the games most of the time.

Not bring back previous nonsense.

But i think arty got messed with bit too hard. and ammo count wasnt changed after super nerfs.

 

It looks like they didnt finish the job after nerfing.  They should have rebalanced arty in all tiers, instead they messed with ammo types and changed numbers.

 

OR perhaps russians just hate arty this year. Perhaps next year they will love arty and arty will get buffs... :trollface:
