now considering that tier 3 dont meet tier 5 anymore , do u think this tank is fun ? so there isnt as much as derp guns that can one shot you

i mean surley who ever buys low tier premuims isnt going for credits farming or crew skilling but just for shits and giggles , so what about this tank ?

anyone recommend it ?

edit: its only for 5 euros

I bought one few years back on Christmas. Its not a good tank, but still can be abit of fun to play. same way the TOG is. Main reason i bought it is because never seen it before and looked weird :D I did have a very good game with it on Sacred valley in tier 5 few months ago, went 1v3 or something against M4 and KV and T28? cant even remember properly. But if you want a low tier German med, get the Pz S35. much better tank

Its also worth pointing out the Großtraktor can hold more crew members so its a bit more convienient in that regard as the Pz S35 only holds 3 dudes. but yea not the most competetive thing in the world but its a funny meme tank you can take out sometimes for a laugh. does have excellent gun depression and elevation angles (+60!!!) and a big health pool and its quick enough can be pretty lethal with HEAT shells now it doesnt meet tier 5s anymore.

I don't think it's good. Owned a couple today in AMX 40.

They litteraly damaged me for less than 30hp in total...

There's one thing that matters a lot for a T3 (or even a T4), and that is how well it can withstand a Panzer 1C. Großtraktor sure doesn't have much armor, but tanks.gg seems to indicate that the huge tracks makes it almost immune from the side. Front and back are another story.

Total lack of armor means that both arty and other HE-tanks won't be much fun to encounter. Also, it doesn't offer that much over e.g. a Panzer IV Ausf. A. Same gun, same-ish armor, higher HP pool, slower. S35 is at least a fine clubber's tank, though its heydays were a long time ago. Try the IV A if you want a taste.

Probably only does on German keyboards. Left Alt key and 0223 on the numerical keyboard (the one on the right) works, however.

So, park the Großtraktor only sideways on to its opposition?

My keyboard is not German as far as I know. May have something to do with the keyboard settings instead?

For a tier III premium it's not that bad. It was crap due to seeing tier 5 games all the time before. So my average damage in it did suffer vs the rest due to the gun. But now it can be hilarious most times with the new tier III MM. As it's basically a bigger, less armored BT-7A. You run full HE, and giggle when you one shot most lights or TD's. And you do get some gold in the "bundle". So for the tank alone, it's not a bad crew trainer due to the many slots. But you need 2 loaders due to the rear turret. It's fast and mobile. But a fairly large paper target. So... not for everyone. But I don't regret getting it back in the day.

Makes me glad I only payed 4 Euros for my SU-76i. And the Großtraktor has HEAT as gold ammo. 2-3 shots and the 99 Euro Pz II J is gone. And the II J pen is so crap, that even the Großtraktor can bounce it. Just angle the side a little towards him and 90% of his shots does noting.

Then again the 4 Euro Pak 40 was so "crap" that they removed that to. So price, don't always reflect what you get... or the balance factor.

I'll just drop my traktor stats here, and proceed to laugh at anyone who doesn't think this tank is a complete monster in tier 3,if it doesn't meet sh*t like Pz.I C

The tracks on the sides block a portion of HE damage from same derp guns like the traktor. It's also possible to sidescrape against the same sh*t that is Pz I C provided you stand at an autobounce angle.

And i got these stats before the MM change mind you.:teethhappy:

Short answer: No

Long answer: Not really, but you may find it a fun novelty act.

Its "fun" in a very limited and specific group of match ups, but most of the time its pretty much outclassed by some of the most common tanks on the battle field like the luchs

But if the money isn't an issue its an extra x2 for faster crew training/mastery which is quite significant at lower tiers and can be giggle inducing in the "right" games

Bought it not played it yet.

14mm frontal armour means your 320 hit points will soon go.

Shell speed is a little low, according to one guide just run it with HE and maybe some heat but don't expect much from the AP rounds.

Im going to go with staying unspotted as much as possible.

Moved in a crew with 100% repairs and 70% camo so maybe a camo net till I get to 100% camo and see how it plays.

Don't play it often,  but when I do its a good experience. Most fun I can have in tier three that I can think of. The gun can be brutal.
110 damage and 43/87 pen. Definitely worth 5-6 bucks.
