I have T-10 and 180k exp for it, and almost about to unlock the IS-7. Should i sell the T-10 to get enough credits to the IS-7, if i was enjoying the T-10 and had 55 % winrate in it? (which is very high for me, as my total rate is 47%) Is the IS-7 worth selling an enjoyable tank for?

No.

Slightly buffed but still slightly lame.

The issue is, if you don't sell the T-10, where will you find a decent crew for the IS-7?

Play the T-10 for 100-200 more battles until you get kinda bored of it, then sell it.

They play differently. I would wait for the next test server and try the IS-7 out on there before you decide.

I recently did just that, while i loved the T-10, i had to re -buy my IS7.

I played three games in it yesterday, all over 3K damage, with one of them i was 3 seconds off capping (for the T55A)   I found the tank excellent hull down. (All three games had no Arty in them) Two games on Mountain Pass and one on Elhaluf.

Skill wise ? hmmm, i pressed "W" a lot hid my lower plate. found it very bouncy, could I bounce 12k in it.... hmmm not with my current skill set,

Its fast, too fast for me as I end up a lot isolated...then blame the team for not supporting. I know I do it.... just never learn.

Selling your T10 would be the WORST thing you would do. Looking at your stats you perform really well with the T10 and AMX 13 75, massively better than all the other tanks so don't ever do that it wouldn't make sense, especially for a tank you haven't even played. I would suggest you buy the IS7 and keep the T10. Leave the crew in the T10 and look through your other Soviet tank options, find a tank, regardless of class, with a decent crew and gold train them into the IS7 and you will then have 1. A T10 you know well and go well in and 2. An IS7 you can learn to use while the crew gets stronger during that learning period. Then you will have two really great tanks that are similar in many ways so whenever you get killed early you can just jump from one to the other and just get better and better

I kept the T-10 (and the IS-3) on the way to the IS-7.  It left me struggling for decent crews for them for a while but I actually play the T-10 more than the IS-7/IS-3 these days.

If I was forced to sell any of them it would be the T-10 that I kept till last.

Yeah don't buy the IS-7

I have it unlocked too but imo it's a waste in the current meta unless you're a fan of golden showers.

A mobilish medium / heavium is a good choice for the current state of the game.

No, IMO the T-10 is the most enjoyable tank in the IS line.  It may not have the armor of the IS-7, but it's better where it counts, if like you said you're enjoying the T-10 then you may well find you don;t like the IS-7 as much.

Got all 10s* without needing to sell the tier 8 or 9, so credits can't be the reason.

* Except for the Chinese TDs

Yes it can be a reason if someone doesnt have them and wants tank relatively soon, for example, in few days.

Keeping the T10 for awhile is a good choice for the OP.

But also if you go up the Chinese heavy line and get the WZ 111 1-4, that is virtually the same as the T10 except maybe plays 5% better. Then is the time to sell the T10.

I sold my T-10 back when it was IS-8, I wouldn't recommend selling any tier 9 tanks that you enjoy, tier 10 gameplay seems very different IMO, harder to do well.

You could just keep the T10 and crew as they are, buy the IS7 and then next time the berlin tanks are on sale buy one and train it up for the IS7 and perhaps change the radio operator to a commander and put it in the T10

Failing that if you had another decent crew in a line you don't enjoy much move that crew into the IS7 and retrain a newer one for there

Why choose? Just have both and see how you like the IS7 without sacrificing the T10 to get it

If you think as a rough rule, the higher tier the tank, the better the crew you should have in it. Also , if you want to do Grand Battles then you're going to be on a much larger map. So you really don't want to have a 100% BiA crew facing 3+ skill crews who have greater view range and capabilities.

If you can keep both, and train up both crews in lower tier Russian premium tanks you get two different gaming dynamics

Tier 9 seems to do well in the current MM and the T-10 is a great tank. It's the best medium tank at tier IX. With the IS7 you can go into Grand Battles, but don't forget that tier X is expensive in credits as well.

If you had to make a choice I'd stick with the T-10.

Grand Battles aren't exactly all that they were made up to be either. I realized that the main reason I enjoy it is that the map is new. That alone brings enough enjoyment for me to actually bother with it.

Considered keeping the T-10 myself, but decided that I have three other T9 grinds I should focus on, already keeping the (soon to be buffed) Centurion 7/1, lacked a properly trained crew for a T10 - and while the T-10 is simply awesome, it's a bit too soft for my liking. IS-7 is pretty nice, but not really a better tank. Doesn't feel like a particularly good choice for Grand Battles either, though don't quote me on that. Lacks a bit when you have to engage a JPE at 400m - which you will have to if you get a spawn far from the city.

I too kept my tiers 9 tanks. Just be more patient collecting the money. Other tactic is not spending it : dont  buy too many low tiers tanks, buy everything on discount : kits, equipment, tanks ...
