It would appear that WG intend to change the interface. Probably for the worse given the interface for missions generally.

However, more interesting appears to be a somewhat complex change to the tokens given for completing missions, and as a result the ability to skip missions;

I am a bit at a loss here.

SO I completed MT12 in the original version.  Set 2 tanks on fire 1 tier over or 1 on fire twice 1 tier over.  It took me 6 months.  It also cost me 2 keyboards. (although the 2nd I didn't mind as much since it was after I set the T34 T8 HT on fire twice.)

Now people get to skip missions.

I think that the powers that be should maybe look at the rng/mm dependant missions, and tweak them further.  Rather then let people skip missions.  It takes away from the achievement.

That's weird. So if I did all of the earlier #15 missions with honours I can skip 4 of the #15 missions for 260

(3x5+1=16 16/4=4)

OK, so I read that link and now my head hurts.

I see it's been simplified in WG's usual style by making it more complicated.

I get the gist of it, those unused commendations can be used to skip any mission, not just mission 15.  So you if you are looking for tall buildings because you have been trying to set two tanks on fire for three years then you can skip that for one commendation/order.  And you can complete mission 15 with honours a second time to get the order again?  Should ease the pain, though the new interface looks like it will multiply it.

In that article it says:

Block Quote

e.g. if you completed the StuG IV and T28 HTC operations by skipping the SPG sets, you will receive the reward for fulfilling the primary conditions. And this amounts to two additional female crew members, by the way.

Now I've stopped bothering with missions at the platoon stage on the T28 HTC.  I've sold the StuG IV ages ago.  However I got that StuG IV without doing the arty missions so am I to look forward to a free female crew member?  Now that would be nice.  If only I had not wasted the four I earned by making them British!

It seems they try to change the missions into a grindfest. Everybody will be able to complete them, provided that they complete lower lever missions multiple times...

Now I feel like an idiot for all the gray hair I got from playing arty to do missions for Obj 260...

Also, can I get rewards again by completing for the 2nd time 15th mission for Stug, HTC, etc?

It looks like we might be compensated with extra girly crew if we finished a set by getting honours in four classes.

I'm assuming you can't use a StuG order to complete T55 missions though, or else everyone will just keep redoing StuG missions and skip the lot...... Unless that's what they want so they can get rid of this campaign as start a new one.

Where does it say that you can redo missions? The way i understand it is that you can skip a mission (even a final one) and redo that (and get the order(s) back) but not that you can repeat and repeat them and basically just farm orders.

Also, as i read it, orders ARE saved. So if you have completed T55a by completing 4 sets, you get 12 orders (?), which also means you'll only have to one OBJ mission to get it.

edit: all 5 lines need to completed now to get reward vehicle, so if you got 12 orders, you need 2 obj missions.

you can redo the mission and retrieve the order since they are reusable.

And it looks like you can just keep doing those mission 15s for the StuG and forget about the hard ones.  Obj for eveyone!

Orders can also be stored and transferred to next operations, i.e. upon collecting them over time you would be able to skip even several mission sets, that is, provided you have enough orders.

No, you'll get 4 parts and 4 orders and need to use those 4 orders to get the 5th part.  Just like it is now.

[edit] I see, you could have potentially banked 15 orders already by completing everything with honours up to and including the HTC.  You would then just need to redo the StuG missions with honours to get the 5 more you needed to skip all five mission 15s for the Obj.  But you will still need to unlock mission 15 before you can skip it.

I don't read it like that - but then again who can really tell.

Seems more like you must complete all five with honours for Stug and HTC before you can go skipping T55a and Object 260 missions?

Overall it looks like a real kick in the teeth for anyone who already got the Obj and completed all 5 classes every time.

At the moment it looks like the usual poorly explained, badly translated stuff we get on the WoT portal so we will probably have to wait for common test.

That's what TDB translated already isn't it?  I trust them over Google translate.

Although there is also a link to revised conditions, they made some primary conditions easier and secondary ones harder for the mission 15s.  Still, for anyone on the Obj missions now, completing the StuG ones with honours will be a walk in the park.

This does sound more confusing to be honest as for it being "easier" I guess time will tell but probably due to some form of OCD even though you don't need to complete all the missions with honours it wouldn't feel "finished" without doing that tbh, so although skipping one that is a nightmare to get past would be handy I would still want to complete it "eventually" anyway

As I have the first set of MT, HT and TD missions all completed throughout with honours and LT up to 13 with honours I guess I should hold off completing the last light tank mission in case it means I would miss out on the extra two female crew members when I do as WG being WG they probably wont make it retrospective

Homer,

Since you seem to have a grasp on WoT'ish (the language used on this article)

Someone (cough, AHEM) that completed all 5 sets per tank with honors basically gets nothing, and those who cannot or have not completed all sets now can get a 5th crew per set by completing 4 sets with honors?

If it is yes, then ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

Basically, an Obj260 for all.  Instead of an Obj260 for those who completed the missions for it.

Edit:

the bright side is that now that many scrubs will get it, it may get buffed, since the stats on them will drop.
