i sold my FV 4202 a couple of months ago it had no armor and no engine power so it basically sucked, i sold it, i could buy it back with credits but now i can't, it will be buffed MASSIVELY in 9.20.1 so i want it back, can i submit a ticket or something? is there any way possible to get it back even with credits? i appreciate whatever ways you suggest.

I sold my Reliant Regal Supervan III 32 years ago for 40 quid.  It has now become a classic is there any way I can get it back?

Anyway, this has all the information you need.

General rule was, that you can recover tank via support if you sold it whithin last two months. It probably won't hurt you if you submit a ticket anyway.

That rule went when they put the tank recovery option in game.

Now you can't use support to get tanks back.

source?

All i see is an armour buff that will not do anything against tier 9/10s and a slight speed boost

Reading this I'm thinking about trying to get my Type 64 back but it seems overly complicated.   No idea how much silver I'd have to have ready.  Probably much easier just to buy another one.

"Frequent negative comments on the FV 4202 pushed us to show it a little love, too. It gets stronger frontal turret armor. To tone down the criticism to its mobility, 9.20.1 also gives this vulture a much needed 650 h.p. engine, which should allow it to reach its maximum speed quicker, keep up with the medium tanks, and provide that deeper punch it’s notorious for."

https://worldoftanks.eu/en/news/general-news/920-1-vehicle-rebalances/#tab2

Nothing definitive though. Massive buff might be a bit too much, but the increase in armor on the turret is quite significant and which can work nicely in combination with the gun depression. At least now the FV4202 will be highly resistant (if not flat out immune) to Tier VI, VII, VIII guns while also being able to shrug of Tier IX and X, as opposed to getting lol penned almost automatically by everything.

How is it complicated?  You click on it in the tech tree or game store and it tells you how much it will cost.  Just like buying one would.  But if it is available for gold in game then you can only return it up to 72 hours after selling it.

In that case then I probably can't restore it, sold it ages ago and it's available for gold I believe.

I thought it was complicated for several reasons.  I would need to know the credit amount that the gold price converts into (and have the credits available).  I would need to provide proof that I had it in the past.  I need to raise a ticket and wait.  Just sounds like too much hassle for a £12 tank.

I was under the impression from reading old guides that you could do an exceptional restore via ticket for any premium but that might not be the case now.

I've never understood why anyone would sell a Prem tank, whats the point?  What is it, 2 mil at most?

The FV would have netted him even less than that, 1.46mil.

you can, but only special tanks, like the ones that are not purchasable in store or in-game, as well as reward tanks

You should be able to get those back in game unless you sold them before the facility was added in which case you are out of the two month limit.

You can try if you like though.

This. As even the T7CC got a massive buff that took it from crap to fun. So you never know. I got the FV for free like most. And I don't sell it even then.
