Hi,

i was driving my light tank and ended up flipping it over, another play comes to help turn my tank over but he goes under the tank, takes damage, get destroyed and i get 24H ban.
you see? this is not right! i submit a ticked to support while i had to tick a box where it says "i understand autobans wont be revoked"!
imagine i get unbanned tomorrow morning which is still inconvenient as i want to play right now but there is no guarantee the same thing wont happen again and i get a bigger penalty due to repeated violations.

When that happened to me, I submitted a ticket with the replay.

The ban was over when i got a reply & they admitted it was wrong.

They must have taken away the black mark aswell!

Happened to me as well. Should probably not happen, but if a ticket resolves it it's not exactly a big deal. Besides, 24-hour ban means second offense in a series, if I'm not mistaken. Got a one-hour ban for the exact same thing.

Doubt it's worth the effort to send a ticket, but it's probably not a bad thing to have as clean of a record as possible. You're on a leash, it seems. ;)

i did sent a replay too, but its gonna take forever for them to review it and hopefully not ignore it. i am really in the mood to play right now and this is a bummer.

i had no prior offenses, i just came back to play after a year and i am not the raging type that shoot allies, i even ignore those that harass me because the auto system does not care! some actually try provoke others to shoot them and get them banned by things like ramming, pushing over edge or blockading LoS...

The only thing you can do is send the replay to Support unfortunately. There's nothing anyone of us can do about it here. Even if Support will not respond within the 24 Hour window, perhaps at least they can make some adjustment to the tracked team damage.

You don't get a 24h ban just because.

True, but i assume it depends how much damage the other guy took.

I had a similar situation recently, where three of us were pushing through the city (Windstorm?), and i raced down a wall behind another tank.

While i took track damage from the fall and tracked myself, the other guy flipped his tank over.

The third guy in a T29 drove down the same spot i was but i was there below him trying to help the flipped tank.

He landed on me, and shaved off 2/3 of my HP pool while slowly sliding off my tank and then flipping himself over.

He turned blue after ~400HP where gone, and i assume he'd have enjoyed one hour off if he did more damage to my medium tank.

Like so many things in WoT and WoWS (fire damage), this could be percentage based, but i admitt that its just based on observations and i might be wrong.

Btw, i managed to flip back both tanks by pushing them uphill along the wall and we won in the end.

So what's the question?

I just got blued and banned for trying to flip over a friendly light tank -_-

They do need to come up with some way to let us help each other without this crap happening.

Maybe reverse it, Meaning if you help a friendly tank out WG gives you 1 hour play time :)

Lucky.

My ticket got a clear copy/paste reply about why it's bad to do team damage and there's nothing they can do.

(even though I didn't actually even do any team damage, only got blamed for the death of a flipped tank after trying to unflip it.)

I've come to expect nothing more from WG "support" though, honestly.
