Maybe you should run pingplotter .... you will see the problem is not the servers ....

I had the game work fine except for some random lag spikes,  like 900+ latency for 3-4 seconds before going back to 60.

Indeed, eu2 is awful last weak or more... ping 200-300...
On eu1, everything is more or less ok.
But EU2 in SH/CW primetime is crap.

Servers are fine, most likely it is a hub between your PC and the wot login servers...pingplotter will reveal the bad hub in the route...

But I can't understand this, how can I have 50 ping in one battle and 1 minute after when I enter another battle it goes up to 300 and it just stays like that? Can someone explain me the logic?

I had a 1s ping to the UK from Afghanistan.... but then it did go all the way into space and back down again......

Its how I imagine the rest of WoT population east of me plays/surfs with

It's like the view range mechanics, basic knowledge about how it works can help a lot...

You don't have a direct connection to the wot server, depending on the distance from server and the internet infrastructure you pass several other routers (hubs), any of these hubs can cause a lagspike..

Thats why a pingplotter graph (look in the Support section for the Howto) can be helpful to identify the source of the lag.

Lots of reasons, your ISP could have overloaded the local loop, so if your neighbour is watching a TV show over the internet it screws your connection. Could be many other reasons.

You need to run pingplotter to see where the trouble is.  If it's the server then it will be obvious.

You won't though, your type never do.

Instructions if you can be bothered.

Download pingplotter

Point it at login.p1.worldoftanks.eu or login.p2.worldoftanks.eu depending which server you use

run it while you play a couple of battles - note if you have lag

save the trace as an image file

attach it to a forum post

I don't know of anything readily and freely available to Windows users which gives as detailed a picture but feel fee to wade in with alternative suggestions if you have them.

And no, tracert doesn't come anywhere near, besides asking your average WoT player to use the command line would be like asking them to walk to the moon.

I'm not sure what that actually means, but if you post a pic of your results it will go rather fast to determine if and where the issue is.

What a surprise.

You put yourself out to help people and they just can't be bothered.  Then they get all uppity when you are sarcastic instead.

Something  must be amiss.

These threads seem to come in bursts and if you check the forums you will see a few server/lag related threads at the moment, including one of my own. At the time of me posting this there are 6 lag/server related threads on the first page of the 'Gameplay' section. There was also that recent case of EU2 going down unannounced.

I'm going to run Pingplotter myself tonight to see, but judging by the forums something does seem off.
