From time to time I wil upload previews of the UUP remodels on my YouTube channel. Don't expect to see a preview of every single one though :V

I'd be busier recording and uploading those clips than making the remodels.

It's fine :D you probably get rather many requests or interactions in general with other forum users, that it's hard to keep up. And as we all have brain farts from time to time, I am looking forward to the Lee remodel. Maybe with a farting sound when the engine starts? As an easteregg to this thread? ;)

The M3 Lee's MG cupola currently has a "bug" (not really a bug, since it's doing what the files say it should do).

On NPCs it's upside down. That is because of the way I had to set it up, so that the MG cupola's rotation is not added to the turret's rotation (when aiming 90° to one side, the MG cupola would otherwise be at 180° already).

think I know how to fix that though... by adding an actuator to turn it around, but have its delay exceed the 30 minute mark. That way it gets applied to NPCs (immediately) but not your own tank (longest possible battle is 30 minutes in a trainingroom + countdown at the beginning and the one minute or so that the "waiting for other players" can be).

Oh wow. already fixed by only editing the .visual_processed. Usually I make a mistake when only editing that one, by forgetting a "<node>" or having one too many.

The delay for the second one is now set to 99999999. That is in ms, so /1000 it's 99999.999s and /60  it's 1666.66665min, /60 again it's 27.7777775h and /24 it's 1.15740739583d. Yeah nobody playing a single battle for that long. I'm sure of it.

 

The previous download is updated but just for the sake of it, ze feex: Download

 

Was just something where I forgot that _onEngineStart is applied to NPCs, but miniturrets aren't. Gotta keep that in mind for future miniturrets on miniturrets... on miniturrets ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Type 59 got another update, after RazerTeck noticed a certain bug: The DSchK doesn't elevate.

The reason behind that, is that bloody 3ds max lied to me :V

Well it was technically just a bug in displaying the node names incorrectly within the viewport. Re-doing the weightpainting fixed it.

 

The download from the release post of the type has been updated. For your convenience (The coax version): Download

I just wondered whether it would be possible to merge the two together, and have both the top MG and coax firing, moving etc?

The only difference in those is the position of "_disabled" within the gun's visual_processed since I've left both nodes for either one. If you remove it, both will fire. You can also change their settings in there (_delayXXX and _burstXXX,X.XX (probably shouldn't edit [shot_XXXXX] as that is the firing effect+sound).

This is also something I wanted to do from now on: give every MG the "HP_UMLGunFireX" node, but I will disable those that I think are just too much. But if you want to change/edit those around, you can do that easier if these nodes are already present, but simply disabled in my release.

 

So, if you take for example Gun_01.visual_processed from the Type 59 and copy it from the .wotmod and put it in "World_of_Tanks/res_mods/[VERSION]/vehicles/chinese/Ch01_Type59/normal/lod0" (you probably have to create some of these folders), you can edit it in there and it should work just fine.

The DSchK's node is in line 53 and the coax's in line 135.

 

^Gonna write something like this as a short tutorial in the OP so it's easier to find^

Centurion Action X was just added. Just wanted to mention its addition, since it's the first released UUP remodel with a searchlight (Chieftain and T95/Chieftain are still being worked on).

Also makes use of the recently fixed "_onRandom" for actuators (make sure to get that UML update :P ).

Hey TheFalkonett, can I do a request for a friend of mine, chris39645? I have the feeling he might forget about this post I told him of today, and he wanted a Maus with a shooting secondary gun aswell as a rotating vision device on top.

If it is not ok for you to request for him, I will have to tell him again ;)

Amazing Job ! This was really missing to that game ! If i may add just one comment : the model of the french TD Tier 9 "Foch" is bugged ! the tank appear completely deformed into the hangar .

I'm using the same version that is available in the DL. So, if it's deformed you either don't have the UML, or it's installed incorrectly.

If it looks like it does here, my guess should be correct.
