I can't believe this rubbish.

I always use the standard round on this SPG but as average I get 250 DMG per direct hit. So today I decided to see how the other round does and I found out that it is IDENTICAL except for plus 1 m dispersion and the standard rounds cost 1120 and the other one 5200 (just for the gain of 1 more metre)

REALLY???? Is that the best offer??? 1 single metre????

I tried ONCE the expensive round and WHAT A WASTE of credits.

WG, wake up and at least make the average hit of the expensive round far more than the standard, at least triple.

Triple what? splash? damage? Arty's job is more shifted on stun assist farming vs damage farming, thus the shells differ only in splash. The idea is to make it "easier" to get group stuns with that 1m, or cap resets behind a building. As that's the only reason to use it. Not to make it easier for your tier 7 then it is for the tier X T92 to stun or do damage.

So, basically, you want a mininuke splash, so you can just shot and cover all the aim reticule with the blast?

Let me rephrase that, I said x3!! well in fact the cost between ammo is x4.64 so I should have said, this percentage to be distributed between splash, DMG aiming time, etc, whatever but to make it proportional to the cost, just saying.

Bottom line it to make that ammo worthwhile or else just take it out of the equation all together.

The chance to have an area group hit via splash is remote to say the least.

Still, quite funny how some people quote certain things as if they live by it, and the moment they say anything, it all goes down the drain.

It's same for the  American SPG's too.

Did the grind up to the tier 9 one, and that extra one meter  is pathetic compared to the cost.

I  intended to use the gold round for the SPG-mission Area of effect for the obj but  it's not worth it, also  i found that playing with the stock gun and higher ROF is better for all missions, you need to farm assist and forget about damage.

I have the solution for your problem.

Let WG  make the ammoprice X3 then you get the X3 you are asking for.

What a great idea! Also I think the same should be done to gold ammo on normal tanks, they cost AT LEAST 4x as much, sometimes even over 10x as much as normal ammo, so they should as MINIMUM do 2x damage and 2x penetration compared to normal ammo!

This was sarcasm, by the way... Just to make it sure... OP's idea is completely idiotic.

First gun you go from 8m to 9m splash radius, that's about 26.6% more area.

Second gun you go from 11.7m to 12.8m splash radius, that's about 19.7% more area.

If you think that increment is pathetic, that's your opinion.

I really don't see what your problem is or how is it worthy of a thread. You don't think it's worth the price, then don't use it, it's hardly a dilemma.

Just forget about premium rounds in artillery. They're never worth it.

My advise... skip the whole SPGs as a group.

That really helps the most ..... at least a tiny bit for me
