How much do you have to keep paying to play this game and to get anywhere. Most games over the counter cost about 40 euro but this game can cost about 10 times more to advance and gain higher tier tanks.

I now will not pay any more into this game as i paid enough and its time to draw a line and stop paying.

Entirely depends on what that "anywhere" is supposed to mean. You primarily play lowtier tanks, so I have no idea what you are currently paying for...

You don't have to pay anything to get anywhere. You can choose to pay to get there much, MUCH faster, but even then it will take double your battle count to even begin to get to a point where you have all tanks unlocked.

Welcome to the world of "Free to Play" where false advertising, annoying players into paying and generally holding their time hostage are the name of the game.

even with just spending 70€  i got over 100 tanks in my garage  15 of that T10 s

and with the events personal missions etc i might have been fine without a single cent spend

you are free to choose if you invest time or money

still most game over the counter offer you ~ 10h  playtime  if your lucky with some re-playabilty if its some great RPG it might be 100-200h

still the time i spend in wot is over 2000h

so even spending about 500 € would have been more cost/time effective than your average game  even more if it would be some 6h is shooter sold for 60€

I never understand this complaint.

If you don't want to pay, don't pay.

If you want the benefits of paying, Pay.

If you want the benefits of paying, without paying....you are a dickhead.

I've probably spent between 300-400 euros. Then again I once calculated that 10k games takes roughly 1000 hours of game time, so spending an average of under 50 cents per hour isn't too bad. A fresh AAA single player title that might set you back 50 euros and give you 10-20 hours of game time, 100-200 for massive open world titles like Witcher 3 or Skyrim, even then the cost per hour won't be much better than what I've put in tanks. Also prem time has the added benefit of working in ships as well, so I get a bonus for two games with one price.

Basically what K_A wrote.

Second thing what you need is some knowledge of the game, you can pay all you want but if you can't put one and one together you won't get anywhere fast in the game. Throwing money at WG for a faster grind is like trying to extinguish a fire with drops of water if you don't understand how to play for silver and xp. You can have premium time and play premium tanks and will eventually get where you want to be but it all depends on you.

You don't need to pay, you need to "git gud". ;)

BTW I gave for this game exactly 3€ of money and some 3500 hours of my time.
