Dear Community,

I'd like to ask a couple of questions. Recently I got a week long suspension for breaking the fair play policy.

Now Ive had my fair share of team killing when people were trolling me, and if i got a suspension I'd know I had myself to blaim for loosing my cool. No real harm done here.

But now wargaming has hit me with a 1 week suspension with the notice that I am not complying with the fair play policy (usage of illegal mods). And now it gets real strange: Ive only use quickybabys mod. I checked and checked, but I cant find an element that could be interpreted as illegal.

So this leaves me sitting here with a suspension without me having any clue why. I already submitted a ticket for the reason, but I believe they said the don't always reply to suspension tickets. Does anyone else have some experience with this? Has anyone ever been suspended with no clue whatsoever. The

The real thing I'm worried about is after the 1 week suspension, there is only the permanent ban option. And that scares me. Because how do you avoid repeating the "mistake" if you dont know what it is...

Sincerely,

V.

Easy solved Delete all mods you have installed. Then you should be safe.

Since when is quicky's mod legal? :amazed:

If you want to be safe, you'd  better use wargaming's official mod found here: https://worldoftanks...nce_gupmod_920/

just send a ticket to support team and wait for QB's ban. His mod pack, he should be banned too

Sounds like another wave of unfair plane bans get your torches and pitchforks ready. Just out of interest Could both of you post exactly what mods you have active.

Any chance you were using an illegal mod in the past and did not fully uninstall it?

If you run an Integrity check it will list all the mods you have:

  • Open the Game Launcher > Settings > Support > CHECK

You'll get a WGCheck report that will include a mod list

Personally, I think Quackybooby getting a week ban would be hilarious. I know, I'm a bad person. On the other hand, he pushes XVM to the innocent, which is worse.

Does that mean that QB is going to be banned?

Nah. That would also mean banning about a million subscribers, most of whom are sure to think that they need his modpack to be competitive.

Mod list gets changed rather often. And QB and others have removed mods from their pack accordingly as the list gets updated. So if you used an earlier mod pack for the current patch with a mod that's considered illegal, that QB has since removed. Not much anyone can do about that then.

No, this couldnt have happened. I needed a fresh install a couple of months ago because the updating proces went haywire (locked up on me) and corrupted game files, needing a complete new install of the game

An earlier version wouldn't work though would it.
