There is only one music theme in WoT right now and it sounds pretty dull. It feels like soundtrack to Alarm fur Cobra 11, if you know the series.

Wargaming already has loads of good tracks, that they're using in the RNG series on youtube. And if not, they can easily get more with their budget.

I'm sure most people right now turned the ingame music off after a month if not a few weeks of playing and either blast their own tunes, or don't play anything.

A nice touch to the game would be, if the soundtrack was great.

If the soundtrack is great you won't bother opening that foobar or winamp and a lot of games are praised for having great soundtrack.

Gothic 3, Hearthstone, Company of Heroes, Flatout 1 and 2, anything in the Command & Conquer series to name a few.

Now what I thought of, would be about 5 playlists to choose from in the options menu, with only one you could pick at a time.

Each could have about 10 tracks.

Classic WoT would be the existing tracks, plus some extra ones in the same style.

Rock would be, well, rock. Instrumental metal/rock tracks like in C&C, or WG's RNG videos.

WW2 could be something more militaristic, than what's already ingame - military drum cadences, music similar to that of CoH, etc. Maybe some classical music too, like the Ride of the Valkyries!

And for electronic i'd imagine techno and arcade-ish style music.

Examples:

Rock:

WW2/Classical:

Electronic:

I'd listen to these ingame :) A good game needs good music and WoT could move a little bit higher in class with this little touch.

If you did listen to the new theme for the PM section next patch. It's not bad. If they did the same to breath some fresh air into some of the old songs. It would actually be good again.

I don't think they should bother adding more music into the game, cause if they did it would be playing on the garage and garage isn't a place you spend a lot of time in wot. In strategy games music plays during the gameplay also which is different.

In WoT it doesen't? You have tracks periodically playing during gameplay.

I always have game music at zero and my own spotify at the background. Solves all problems and allows me to listen to my... Often eccentric music choices while gaming:hiding:

I'd rather see what they did in WoW where you have a folder to put the mp3 you want to be played in game.
