The devils number is 666.

There's nothing special about the number 666, just a boring even number.

So I thought maybe the devils number is referring to another number. So I look up the 666th prime number, it's 4973. Initially only special properties of 4973 I found was that its cosine is damn near -1, cos(4973)=-0.99.

But then I thought what if you sum every number in the prime: 4+9+7+3... well 4+9+7+3 = 23.

...

Hmm 4494. The sum of it numbers is 21, so can't find a connection that way.

If you prime factorize it you get: 2x3x7x107 and even if you sum all the numbers in the prime factors of my winratio you only get 20. I can't find any connection, sorry.

If 666 isn't special then why do you look up for the 666th prime number ?

666 on face value isn't special when you look to it's numerical properties. However 666 is the devils number, that makes it special.

those are different numbers. 42 is said be the answer to everything.

23 is a menacing number.

If 666 was somehow connected to 42, which is the answer to everything, then wouldn't that imply that 666 which is interconnected with the devil is a part of the answer to everything...

It would prove the devil is real.

interesting.

As we do not have a section in which to discuss devilish numbers, I guess I will move this thread to off-topic.

Have a nice day.

Actually, the 666 thing is a misreading of what it actually says in the Bible. The real number is something like 656 (I forget exactly). It is just that 666 has become so enshrined in public consciousness that no one thinks to question it.

This!

It's still a meaningless number.
