Hi,

I've seen that wg is selling, in the premium shop, 2 tanks that I'd like to take (the FV4202 and the Skorp G)

I'd also like to take the Lorr.40 t when selled.

So I'd like to know: which one is better and which one is not so difficult to play. (I'm not a very skilled player:P)

Thx in advance!

P.S.

I'm actually grinding the mt english branch, the mt french tanks (auto loader) and the heavy tds germany tanks.

(Consider the crew training!);)

Skorp G, its got a good gun, fast, mobile, and turret, HOWEVER, it doesn't play like the heavy german TD's and its camo is lacklustre, which, when coupled with the non existant armour makes it very punishing if you make a mistake

FV4202, idk, I don't hear good things about it, and the CT buffs are always getting changed so the variant that it ends up in might not be worth using anyway... that said, it would train your crews..

Lorr 40t, same as Skorp G really, you will get punished hard when you make a mistake.. I know because I have one

best choice, if you HAVE to go with one of these 3, is the skorp, but remember its all about the gun

Save your money - none of them are worth a dime.

get yerself a Churchill III when it's on discount.

nothing wrong with that.

I highly advise against buying a tier 8 premium tank when you cant even drive a regular one properly.

Skorpion G by far. Mixture of good mobility, full turret and that powerful gun on a premium is brutal, prints credits like mad. Lorr 4 T is second best, but can be difficult to play and i wouldnt recommend it if you are not used to auto loaders. FV4202 is not terrible but not good, other T8 meds are better. However after the next patch it will be getting buffed abit and will be quite competitive

Watching results seems that the best on all aspects is the skorp G...

But I don't already know if it would be worth or not.:(

And I'd like the Fv4202 too.

IT'S SO DIFFICULT TO CHOICE!!!

P.s.

What about taking a tier 7 premium it's worth ot it's better to take a tier 8 premium?

As Pans already stated above it's better if you get something from mid tier with your skill level. A high tier premium won't do you any good if you can't take advantage of it. And also invest in learning how to play the tanks you have effectively first.

So maybe instead of Skorp g, should I take a steyr wt?

That wouldnt help you all that much. Steyr is basically slower but more sneaky version of Scorpion G, basically Borsig but tier lower. Its camo will give you a bit more leeway than Scorpion would but a mistake will be punished the same because of bad armor , its only real advantage is better MM as T8 MM is currently completely fucked up.

From those 3, Scorpion is probably the best and Lorrain 40t 2nd but both of them are difficult to play effectively and require decent crew + full equipment as well. With your skill level, you probably wouldnt be able to use even half of their potential. FV4202 is more forgiving and easier to play overall but in its current form it is quite bad and combined with current problematic MM for T8 tanks it is definitely not a good investment. They are plans for buff but the situation is still uncertain as some fools in WG came to believe that a bit more armor suddenly makes subpar T8 medium prem. OP and withdraw the buffs until they test it further...

Personally I would recommend getting Cromwell B to train brit crews as it is a good tank, comes with BiA crew and is still only T6 which allows you to get more experience while not overly hindering the teams as you would in T8 tank.

If you really want then Scorpion G and Lorraine definitely arent bad, M4A1 Rev instead of Lorraine is decent alternative also but I wouldnt rush to play them until you get a bit better at the game.

A better choice, however I would be tempted to go lower.

Tier V or VI would be a better choice for you at the moment.

Phlean said the CT2 will begin at friday or so. Wait until then if you can to see what they want to do to 4202.

I have the Skorpion G. It is tough to play well, I die with 0 or 1 shot of damage often, basically any time I make the slightest mistake.

I'm pretty sure Lorraine 40t is likewise very difficult to play well, if you make mistakes then you are lucky to get 1 clip off and bounce some of it.

If FV gets the buffs it may be a good option.

Get a Lowe if you want a tank which is easy to play.

I concur. I bought my first T8 premium way too soon (when I just got to T5). Next premium acquisition was the T6 Fury and I did much better than T8-10

Got the Skorpion G and the Lorraine 40t don'e have the 4202.

When I tried to play the Skorpion like an RHM Borsig it was rubbish because as already mentioned the camo isn't great.

But its a pretty good opportunity tank come out blast an enemy then get the heck out of trouble.

One thing to point out about the Skorpion is the crew which is none standard, It has a commander loader which is a pain and I wish wargaming would look into perhaps changing that.

The standard layout is Commander Driver Gunner Loader with the commander also being the radio operator. Skorpion is Commander/loader then radio operator driver gunner

The Lorraine 40T is one of my favourite mediums even with my ability I can earn decent credits a good player can probably do extremely well.

I bought it because I had the 25t AP so I needed a French medium crew trainer.

The first pollquestion is impossible to answer. Asking for the "best" tank is always questionable, especially if you then list three completely different tanks and classes. Best in terms of what?

But that doesn't matter anyway, because the only answer to give here is to buy none of those, as you aren't anywhere near ready to play those tanks because you are still grinding lowtiers.

You have less than 10k battles.

Choose a lower tier tank.

Good choices for a player of your present skill level and experience;

Churchill III

IS2B

T14

VK 45.03

If you feel the absolute need to purchase a tier VIII, and I would strongly suggest you wait until you have at least 10k battles and a 50% win rate then the best two for you would be;

Lowe

T-54 mod 1.

So none of the three you put in the poll would be optimal for you at the moment.

I agree with that. Its a cracking tank, with pref mm. I achieved top gun in it the other day with 6 kills.
