I've just been hit out of base in my E25 by another E25 on the back corner at speed. Flipped straight onto my back.

Light tanks seem to suffer more than normal for extreme movement. Also can we have a righting mechanism and reward for team mates doing it. A CDC was awarded 800 team damage and a team kill for trying to right me, rather harsh.

I also find that tanks rubbing against obstacles and on gradients act very strangely.

Is the physics engine changing when new HD maps are introduced?

This no.. sadly

I'd love to see a better physics engine in general - Havok or something like that. Whatever physics is already ingame is taking a bit too much load to process for how simple it is, not to mention they promised a change of engine and then dropped it for ... no reason I guess.

What I especially hate with current physics - the tank's threads are magnetic. You could climb walls if they were just a little tiny bit askew.

I'm sure he said light, only to refer its weight. Read the sentence carefully.

Seems appropriate for something known as the cockroach.

Wish it would happen more often TBH.

Well, it does kind of feel like some tanks' center of mass is off sometimes. Overall it's hardly worth calling even a nuisance anyway.

As for getting a teamkill when trying to help teammates, it's not exactly ideal, but there's an easy solution to it. Take a guess what it is.

(Oh, and it sucks even more to get a ban if you're the one being helped.)

That is unfortunate but can happen with the current physics. The new HD maps are not bringing any changes to the tank physics themselves, but if you notice any specific glitches or weird behaviour, please feel free to report them with a replay to customer support or in the "current update" section in the bug report thread.

I second this. There seems to no traction at all on some rocks in peculiar places. I can understand it around the edge of maps and no climb zones but there are masses of places where you can badly lose control of your tank. The STRV's suffer very badly when manoeuvring  on rocks and side of inclines.

Yeah it's odd indeed. Also, my tanks tend to stick on rocks like they are magnetic when trying to do quick peeks, got me killed a couple of times actually.

Will HD maps fix the issue your tank "sticks" to rocks etc or will that not be fixed?

Seen that multiple times with buildings mainly.. you touch a slant near a building and the bottom of your tank gets magnetized to it and crawl up the wall.

Also hate it that you can't control your tank once are on some heavily sloped terrain. Suddenly all controls seem to be freezed until you've slided down to some less sloped underground. Got me killed way too often.
