I remember first trying it out on the test server way back in 2015 when it first came out and told myself I must get it one day. That day arrived and I am now the proud owner of the Centurion Action seX.

What a babe of a tank. The gun is a massive upgrade over the Centurion 7/1, it actually hits stuff and doesn't need to aim in for a few weeks. Turret is a troll when abusing the gun depression (and will get even better in the next update). Really nice mobility to boot. I only have 10 games under my belt but around 50 on the Test Server over the past week and it just seems to be my tank.

Time will tell, but I no longer feel like touching another tank.

Just one question: Why did it lose the 210 mm HESH round? It has 268 standard APCR, there is no need for a HEAT round.

So you tried it 2 years ago, really liked it and then took this long to finish the line? :amazed:

And here i thought someone would admit he is a masochist and only gets his orgasms by playing the game especially on weekends.

If he doesn't play premium, and has a family, it can easily take this long. I only just got the E50M, and it's been a loooong time coming on a 95% non premium account :)

1 - I stopped playing WoT for around 10-months most of last year and a bit of this year.

2 - With the exceptions of premium tanks, I'm almost exclusively a F2P player, occasionally getting a premium weekend or month every now and then. Usually spoil myself with a premium month over December/January.

3 - I work and study part-time, so I don't really play during the week, and if I do I can only get my x2s per tank.

4 - Since returning to the game I've stopped power-grinding tanks. I get my x2/x3/x5 and then move on to the next one. Power-grinding = over playing the game = frustration = the reason why I stopped playing for a while.

One of the main problems with the FV4202 at tier 10 was the lack of ammunition to deal with super-heavies. 268 APCR just does not cut it against hull-down heavies and retard-proof armor (i.e. Type 5 and the maus line), at least not in the current style of maps where you are often forced to take an engagement head-on. Besides, while 210 HESH is awesome at tier 9, it really loses a lot of that potential facing top tiers that generally have more armor. That said, the CAX still has that nice high-pen HE round that is great in a lot of situations.

Fair enough. I know it still a small sample - 37 games on Live - but I can't say that I've needed much HEAT. Off the top of my head I fired HEAT at an E75 that was giving me trouble, but it was just 1 shell to kill him. And then a Type 5 that was just barrelling through the middle of Paris needed two. Mice are okay unless they're hiding their LFP. But I do get what you are saying, if you get a sh*t show like Paris with a ton of heavies it can be an issue.

The 105 mm HESH does indeed do a good job against the paper TDs such as Grilles and Waffles. I've been a bit reluctant to use it against Leopards and scouts, not sure how reliable it will be.

It's excellent against all paper targets like you said, but also really tends to shine against the sides of the more boxy top tier medium tanks such as the Leopard 1, AMX 30B, BatChats, AMX 50B and TVP 50/51, but it can be tricky to make it work and I wouldn't advise it to everyone. Just don't bother when facing them frontally since the angles are too great for the HE to penetrate and the effective armor exceeds the 105mm pen even without any manual angling.
