Am i the only Dad playing this game and telling their kids off when they use too much of the bandwith watching Netflix or youtube? Am i the only Dad getting up at 7.00 am to play tanks before the wife and kids are up then as the wife appears quickly press Alt+Tab to open BBC News? Am i the only Dad that would like to go to Bovington on holiday?  Am i the only Dad that my kids will probably remember me as “he used to be on the computer all the times playing tanks” ? In summary am i the only Dad that loves playing this game a bit too much (says the rest of the family).

Please post your funny stories below for a bit of lol. Thanks.

Fred

I'm a dad, and before we had fibre-optic BB, the bandwidth available on our BB was low enough to cause significant problems playing when anyone else was even surfing. As for telling the kids off, I didn't used to but now I don't need to. It would also be difficult to tell them off when I am platooned with one of them!

As for the missus. Don't even go there!

Same here :)...sometimes my son sits beside me and comments. There is no escaping from gaming and his classmates always discuss the newest games. I kind of like it he is talking about the tanks instead of some head slashing shooting butchering games like others do.

I am the only sugar Daddy playing tanks?

PS. nice to see fathers with 50%+ winrates... if you play that much for 46%, I would inform the social services!

I am still not a dad, but the future mom is giving me a lot of hard time when I play the tanks. I also wake up early to play :D The wife is often: Alright you can play some `v tanke` tonight :D some of the evenings.

I grinded awful tanks for my son, so he wouldn't get a mental illness from this game.

No way you are buying another new game for £30 (while dad is spending the kids inheritance on gold)

I'm a dad, I pay for enough internet to do everything at once, I get up at 7am to get the kids off to school and the wife to work so I can spend all day playing tanks when I'm off shift, and I go to Tankfest by myself most years because the wife can't get the Friday off work.

My only problem at the moment is my teenage son has taken over the gaming PC so evening Tank sessions don't happen very often any more.

New dad here. My son was born almost three weeks ago and only manager to play an hour or two (when my wife and junior were napping) . Before junior my gaming was tolerated by the missus but now i get the evil eye so it might be awhile before i can put in a proper session lol

Grandad here... It beats me as both grandkids on YT on tablets, Netflix on telly, seems to be stuck on my little pony, wife on Netflix with headphones on and I am left with the remnants of the bandwidth. Nevermind could be worse when no 1 son comes to stay who then spends most of time also on Netflix.

No wonder ping suffers a little....

At least I don't get derided by wife for playing WoT so every cloud and all that.....

congratz and welcome to the club. Don't mind the evil eye, just change a diaper once in a while in between game sessions. Your misses will eventually appreciate it.. or maybe not LOL.

My wife likes to watch here series on netflix after de kids have gone to bed just when I have my WoT session. And yea, I often get lag and high ping because of that.

Seriously? The vast majority of internet on the planet (even in third world countries) is capable ofrunning netflix either side of a server based game...

I have a wife watching netflix, a son watching netlifx and me downloading movies and playing WoT simultaniously...and i've never gone above 20 ping...What the hell are you guys using?
