IS-2 is temporarily put on the shelf because i don't have a IS-2 berlin skin for it yet skin for it yet.. currently i have a Pravda skin from Girls Und Panzer on the tank..

and i'm working on understanding why i need to replace both the Russian and the Chinese IS-2 for the model to work on the IS-2 Berlin...

currently i'm working on this

i't appers moving and removing things from models was easy, but removing shadows and other visual things in the DDS files became complicated, so far camo on both the IS-2 and the FV4202 are useless, it just makes them look bad, and i need to eddit the file for the FV so it doesn't need to get the DDS files from the Centurion 7/1 folder anymore, something i don't know how to do + the hull on the FV dissapears when you get a distance from the tank and the IS-2 looks original from a distance both of these i don't know how to fix,

The shadows issue is due to the AO map, specifically the green channel of it which contains the ambient occlusion map for the live model. You can either try to figure out which dark spots to paint over, bake a new ambient occlusion map using 3ds or other software or go the super easy but worst looking way by filling the entire green channel of your AO map with white.

The visual_processed files contain the file paths to the textures so that should be fairly easy to change and to get rid of the model disappearing or changing at a distance you need to edit the model file and remove both <parent> and <extent> elements from it.

this is how the AO file looks like to me,

don't know what to do with it , i tried erasing the green and yellow but that was a big mistake,

been looking at this for days without luck

You want to use Photoshop or Gimp which support editing on a per channel basis. Paint.NET isn't suitable for it.

I think you have to import them rather than load them, you may also need to download the .dds add-on but I can't remember if I had to.

i tried to change the path in the Visual_processed files for the Turret and Gun to open them in the FV4202's folder

but it didn't work, it still loads them from the 7/1's folder

maybe i'm just dumb...

Maybe there's a model file in your FV folder that still points to the Centurion's folder?

Probably because in your model file you changed GB24_Centurion_Mk3 to GB70_N_FV4202_105 but forgot to also change Gun_05 to Gun_01.

There's certainly an error message in your python.log telling you what the cause for the crash is.
